Digital Account Executive, Influencer Marketing

CMM is a mid-sized, integrated agency, specializing in beauty, lifestyle, and personal care. Our full-service Digital Marketing and PR divisions work together to create a singular voice for brands across all platforms – media, events, influencer campaigns, social media and emerging platforms.

We’re looking for a stand-out influencer expert with paid media experience to sit within our New York-based digital team. You’ll work in close collaboration with teams across the agency, focused on accounts across a range of verticals, including CPG, beauty & skincare, and health & wellness. This role provides the opportunity to imprint on influencer strategy and execution across a number of accounts, serving as the executional support role during program activation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Influencer Account Supervisor with paid influencer program initiatives for multiple clients, inclusive of all steps of a campaign – ideation, identification, outreach, negotiations/contracting, financial management, content approvals, content deployment strategy, amplification, and reporting
  • Provide support both internally to cross-functional PR and digital team members and externally to clients as a day-to-day partner, having a clear point of view on influencer best practices
  • Approach influencer programming through a paid lens, identifying opportunities to increase program performance through paid media amplification or leverage partners to create deliverables built with paid media best practices in mind
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external talent agency partners to ensure influencer campaign deliverables and expectations are met
  • Efficiently manage budgets, deliverables and timelines for paid influencer programming
  • Demonstrate vast understanding of social media and the digital landscape and how to incorporate into client programs

Skills and Experience:

We are searching for a strong candidate with 2-4 years of experience working in Influencer Marketing. We’re looking for someone who is both a self-starter and a team player who wants to join a thriving entrepreneurial agency. Experience must include (but is not limited to):

  • Understands and can articulate influencer strategies from both an organic and paid perspective – can explain the differences between whitelisting, boosting, and dark posting and when to leverage each.
  • Expertise in managing/casting influencer programs across a wide range of influencers – from celebrities to micro-influencers within the beauty, lifestyle and wellness space.
  • Familiar with influencer relationship management tools and ROI dashboards.
  • Knowledge of usage rights, exclusivity, and basic contract terms, knowing how to prioritize them in contracting and negotiations.
  • Execution of integrated influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Strong relationships with influencer talent managers and agencies.
  • Client management skills.
  • Strong writing skills and deck design abilities.
