We’re looking for a Global Marketing Planning Operations Director for the Jordan Brand. In this role you'll utilize Strategic Approach: Innovative problem solving ability. Functional acumen: Deep skills in Brand Management & Marketing strategy, plus general skills across Consumer Insights, Finance and Data/Analytics. We focus on Communication: Effective storyteller (especially simplifying complex information). Partnership: Mastery in driving teamwork and integration. Influence: Confidence in shaping & supporting Leadership agendas. Process Rigor: Ability to drive work to impact (end-to-end, to output, etc.)

What You Will Work On

In this role, you will be responsible for helping to define and align on our priorities across the brand in partnership with the Brand Marketing Leadership team and other critical functions across the enterprise. This includes two primary areas of focus:

  • Creating the Future: This role is responsible for driving the alignment of the future vision of the brand & marketing function in partnership with the CMO, Brand Marketing leadership team and key cross functional teammates. This will be done through the development of our Jordan Brand Plan, our 3-year rolling strategy and our annual brand & operating plans.
  • Driving the Offense: This role is responsible for leading the alignment of our annual and seasonal brand priorities, as one brand across our Consumer Construct (Men’s, Women’s and Kids), in partnership with geography/city-based partners and other functional leaders (Design, Product Merchandising, Marketplace). The role takes the lead for aligning marketing in critical enterprise gates and marketing functional moments & achievements, ensuring clarity in our marketing direction early in the process, clear decisions that enable our priorities to be structured & implemented, and measurement of our brand performance that fuels continuous learning and improvement. You will serve as the communication liaison between Jordan Brand Marketing Leadership Team and Ops regarding updates, progress checks, and plans against challenges.

Through leadership and collaboration, you will ensure new ways of working in Jordan Brand.

Who You Will Work With

You will report to the CMO of Jordan Brand and sit on their leadership team. You will indirectly lead a cross functional team of: Brand Management, Consumer Direct Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Sports Marketing, Communications and Brand Creative in driving the offense through critical enterprise gates and marketing functional moments & achievements. You will also partner with Insights, Strategy, and Finance partners : ensuring planning and essential action plans against key priorities.
What You Bring

  • MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
  • 2 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in a creative, fast-paced & complex marketing environment, ideally with experience across multi-national brands.
  • Proven ability to shape with consumer insights and industry trends into actionable strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive alignment across matrixes teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills: ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for the Jordan Brand and enthusiasm for working in the world of sport and culture.
