POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for development and implementation of Zales and Peoples paid/organic social media and influencer marketing. This role is responsible for planning, driving and innovating the strategic direction for the Zales and Peoples brands across all social platforms and oversee the day-to-day operations of paid/organic social media campaigns and influencer programs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Spearhead Zales and Peoples brands paid and organic social media strategy and implementation across social platforms while keeping consumer experience and omnichannel business results top of mind
  • Oversee day-to-day management, budgets, monthly/seasonal content planning, copy-editing, internal/agency/vendor approvals, planning and execution in order to deliver leading edge paid media campaigns that are aligned with organic social media, brand strategy/campaigns and social best practices
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, brand marketing, creative and corporate communications teams on paid media campaigns and keep stakeholders appraised of status on all campaigns (progress reports, ongoing feedback and evaluation of campaign performance and activity)
  • Determine key metrics and develop reporting for all channels to track performance and provide recommendations for optimization and testing. Identify emerging social trends, best practices, and new technologies to proactively provide strategic recommendations for new opportunities
  • This position leads the paid social media strategy and planning and oversees organic social media and influencer programs (with support from additional team members)
  • Performs additional duties and projects as assigned
  • Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Experience in advertising or marketing
  • Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 5-7 years in Paid & Organic Social and Influencer Marketing

Technical/Other Skills Required:

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.)
  • Intermediate understanding of Excel functions (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Understanding of analytics tools (Google Analytics)
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Comfortable working in fast-pace, entrepreneurial, retail environment
