Social Media Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
As the Social Media Manager, you’ll lead the strategy,
execution and
management of all social media channels for the brands as well as lead the
brand’s social mission initiatives. We expect you to be current with the latest
platforms and social media trends as well as current events. You’ll will work
closely with our team to help cultivate a community of engaged followers.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence and
create high levels of engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Social Media Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing our brands
visions to life online and among our community. You’ll be responsible for
managing the look & tone of the brands across social media platforms. You
will evaluate our Influencer program and develop a relationship with our
brands ambassadors. You’ll report on analytics across all social channels,
optimization, growth and become an expert on what content works best for
each specific channel.
Duties:
Develop and execute strategy for social media platforms while
continually evolving and adjusting content to meet and/or exceed
metric targets including but not limited to engagement, follower
growth, impressions, reach, site traffic, revenue, etc
Manage social media content calendar and creative brief
development in alignment with Madewell Collectives marketing
calendar and collaboration with key stakeholders
Share feedback and insights from our community that can inform
our overall product, marketing, and customer engagement
strategies
Identify new social channels for us to test into and create strategy
that supports each new channel in a thoughtful manner
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of social media and
influencer KPIs
Ability to produce reports for upper management
Strategize, write copy for and manage content in accordance with
Social Media Calendar
Ensure quality and consistency in our brands voices
Manage Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc. to drive brand
awareness, customer acquisition, community growth and revenue.
Collaborate with marketing team on organic social pillars and
overall content to drive engagement and performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelors’ degree from a four-year university in Marketing,
Advertising or equivalent
2-3 years of social media and/or influencer related experience
Knowledge of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram,
Twitter, and YouTube. Must have passion for all things related to
social media
Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to engage
audiences
Ability to be both a self-starter and a team player
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must have some level of proficiency in Adobe Suite (i.e. Photoshop,
Premiere Pro, etc.)
Ideal candidate is both analytical and creative
Have the ability to work with multiple brands and hundreds of
influencers/reviewers.
This position is Remote, with the possible expectation of moving to
the Orlando, FL area.
