Marketing Director
Job Title: Marketing Magician (Director of Marketing). This fully remote position will report directly to Kelsey Moreira, Doughp Founder & co-CEO.
What for?:
We are looking for an experienced strategic leader, passionate about brand and culture, to own all-things Doughp marketing & communications. This position will be responsible for developing, bringing to life, managing, and continually optimizing an omni-channel marketing strategy. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand experience that drives sales profitably on all ecommerce and retail marketing platforms. It will be in your hands to ensure that every person who interacts with the Doughp brand walks away knowing we make ridiculously tasty cookie dough and that we are here to make the world a better place. This position will reward an out-of-the-box thinker… someone who doesn’t even know what a box is because they’ve got such a creative marketing brain!
What You'll Be Doughing:
- Create and manage the Doughp marketing calendar/campaigns, marketing materials, and brand partnerships across ecommerce and retail channels
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts
- Develop strategies and tactics to enhance Doughp’s marketing performance across all channels
- Manage vendors across all growth & retention marketing channels; which may include agencies managing: paid advertisement on social media/SEM, organic social media, content creation, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing of both ambassadors and content affiliates
- Enhance retention marketing efforts by improving the Doughp loyalty and subscription programs
- Direct content marketing direction including photography/video and blogs
- Plan & deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
- Drive customer feedback efforts to gain consumer insights for new product efforts, measuring effectiveness of marketing campaigns, etc.
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely with the Doughp leadership team
- Measure and report on the performance of marketing channels & campaigns measuring against goals & pivoting when needed; report with data-driven performance reports, campaign results, and your expert insight on the results of the marketing channels
- As Doughp continues to grow, you’ll be responsible for building & directing a team of marketing professionals to execute on the shared vision

We reaaaaaally want you to have:
- A love of cookie dough
- 3+ years of experience in Brand/Marketing
- 2+ years of experience in managing teams and/or vendors
- 2+ years of experience working in a D2C business
- BA in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or similar relevant field
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven experience in:
- identifying target audiences
- Creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate
- A solid sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication style
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurements
- Ability to prioritize in a dynamic and highly changing environment
- A go-getter mentality and self-motivated
- Extreme creativity to build meaningful marketing campaigns that not only boost sales but drive our mission home
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team with strong communication and management skills
- Strong organizational skills
