Social Marketing Manager

Position Summary

THINK is seeking a goal-oriented and highly entrepreneurial person to join our fast-paced team. We are looking for a creative, analytical and strategic Social Marketing Manager to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion through social media initiatives. The position will utilize a combination of social network management, community engagement, and brand partnership opportunities to drive the THINK social media strategy. This position reports to the Director of Social Marketing, supporting the strategies and direction of the CMO.

Successful candidates will possess a deep understanding of social media tactics and strategies and will ideally have experience in the body care or baby care industries. This position will be responsible for creating and executing strategies in a fast-paced, high-volume environment across social media channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES (but Not Limited To)

  • Conceive, create and execute innovative marketing campaigns to deliver growth, customer retention, brand awareness and engagement through social channels. Oversee all social media platforms from planning, content creation, implementation, and management, to reporting.
  • Identify and create programs and promotions to grow membership and engagement within the social media and community spaces that align with THINK corporate objectives. Drive compelling multi-platform social strategies, designed to accomplish larger corporate objectives.
  • Manage the social content planning, programming, publishing, tagging, and editorial calendars.
  • Submit content requests to creative team, where creative team is needed.
  • Capture social photos and create owned content, where creative team is not needed. Includes TikToks, Instagram Reels, IG Lives, IGTVs, etc.
  • Develop new ways to foster community through real time 1-1 engagement.
  • Execute special promo activity on social media platforms (coupon codes, giveaways, etc.).
  • Oversee brand partnerships (outreach, scheduling, planning, communication).
  • Help plan and book talent for IG Lives and Masterclasses.
  • Boost posts on Instagram and Facebook to increase following and social media engagement.
  • Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports and analysis around social media platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for influencer partnerships in social media channels and work with influencer marketing team to source and share IGC.
  • Oversee community management team in Philippines. Ensure all comments and DMs are being responded to. Oversee community management tasks including engagement groups.
  • Keep monthly social media budget updated.
  • Identify, learn and own emerging platforms strategy, analytics and execution.
  • Responsible for social publishing best practices with engagement benchmarks for all social channels.
  • Must be able to write complex copy/text that is well-researched and suitable for the intended reader.

Necessary Skills

  • Creative thinker who can be both innovative and execution oriented.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in reporting, data management, and analytics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles, new technologies and social media.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with superb attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate confidently yet diplomatically.
  • Ability to master reports and business correspondence with professionalism.
  • Ability to write engaging content using accepted social media terminology.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast paced, positive environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle numerous on-going projects simultaneously.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and helpful, problem-solving work ethic.
  • Solid people skills with ability to support the efforts of all team members.
  • Comfort in an evolving, fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work some evenings/weekends for scheduled events and promotions.
  • Must be able to travel domestically for events several times a year (pending covid restrictions).
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time.

BACKGROUND + EXPERIENCE

  • Must have a university degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
  • 3-4 years on-the-job experience in marketing or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of paid social media advertising experience; using UI tools and features like Power Editor, Custom Audiences, Look-A-Like Audiences, Carousel Ads, etc.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube.
  • Proven ability to significantly drive engagement, growth, and conversion.
  • Understanding of baby, beauty, skincare and/or natural market is a plus.
  • Graphic design experience a plus.
