MDO by Simon Ourian M.D. is a revolutionary skincare cosmetic dermatology start-up with the mission of bringing Simon Ourian expertise as an acclaimed international beauty expert to the comfort of everyone home. We produce high quality skincare products to target specific skincare conditions.

We are seeking a highly talented Marketing and Digital Manager to be based in Los Angeles, CA. This digital native will be responsible for supporting MDO Global marketing team across Social Media, Influencer Marketing, Consumer and Retail Management. Working closely with Simon Ourian. Our ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, hands-on, and proactive. Must be passionate about Beauty and Skincare.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create on Brand Marketing Strategy for North America, in collaboration with the MDO Global Marketing Team.
  • Drive innovations and promotions of the brand as per agreed timelines, through impactful execution in the North American markets.
  • Work closely with US retailers, market teams, and marketing team in order to drive sales through dedicated marketing plans.
  • Actively Support the Business Development initiatives, along side the CEO.
  • Assist the MDO Global Marketing Team in supervising new product launch strategy for North American market. Ensure presentation to field force and retailers on a timely basis.
  • Deep understanding of what is happening in the Beauty Industry in L.A.
  • Establish and maintain a partnership with Simon Ourian to execute all marketing related initiatives in Beverly Hills (video and photo content creation for all social channels, and marketing material).
  • Working closely with the Global Team to drive and execute the Strategic direction of MDO in North America.
  • Responsible for implementing MDO Merchandising and consumer relation initiatives at the Epione Clinic in Beverly Hills, L.A.
  • Working closely with Simon Ourian to assist and execute the key marketing involvement he has with the MDO Global brand.

Digital Responsibilities:

  • Identify trends and viral moments on social media where thereby MDO can join the conversations
  • Close collaboration with the MDO Global Social Media Team to ensure the execution of relevant initiates for North American markets (e.g. US Social Media Influencer Campaigns)
  • Understanding of e-commerce, and DTC business model.
  • Experience in CRM is required
  • Support the Global Marketing Team with paid media strategy in North America
  • Knowledgeable in digital paid media buying.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (marketing degree or equivalent)
  • 3 to 5 years of Marketing experience in luxury cosmetics required
  • Proven success working in a fast paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are complemented by hard-driving consumer centric activities.
  • Strong interpersonal & analytical skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-rounded understanding of social media platforms and how they function, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset that is constantly curious and up to date on all the advertising industries’ best practices.

What to expect:

  • The role is commencing at 50% with the option of increasing to 100%.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Home Office based, with the exception of time required at Epione Clinic with Simon Ourian (20-30%)
