Hollywood Life is seeking a full-time Video Producer to write, shoot and edit for the Hollywoodlife.com website, the Hollywood Life YouTube channel, and our other social media channels.
What You'll Do:
- Video and audio editing for Hollywood Life's core content, including but not limited to daily news videos and celebrity interviews.
- Write well-researched scripts on the latest entertainment news.
- Distribute to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and more.
What We're Looking For:
- Knowledge or strong interest in celebrity news and pop culture. Knowledge in YouTuber/TikToker/Influencer space is a plus.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, mainly Premiere Pro and Photoshop. After Effects is a plus.
- Proficiency with audio equipment, lighting, and various camera systems.
- Knowledge in SEO and YouTube best practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge producing, editing, and distributing podcasts.
- Comfortable with occasional on-camera hosting.
- Available to work on weekends on occasion.
- Experience with Wibbitz is a plus.
Compensation / Other:
- Position is Exempt, NYC-based, and reports to Video Director.
- Salary is competitive, with excellent benefits.
- Currently, all work performed remotely, to be evaluated periodically in conjunction with NYC, NYS, and Federal guidelines.
