We’re seeking a Director, Brand Insights Strategy to join our Strategy team! In this role you will work closely with account leaders in our Integrated Communications (IC) pillar to develop insights and strategies that form the basis for programmatic/tactical level plans for our clients in the healthcare sector. In this role you will support both new business pitches and existing client work (and related organic growth opportunities).
All W2O employees are working remote for the rest of 2020; once the offices re-open, this position will ideally work in the New York City office and we will also consider Florham Park, NJ and Philadelphia offices.
What You’ll Do
- Digest the needs of client audiences to develop insights that lead to programs designed to address audience and brand needs and deliver results against business goals.
- Collaborate with Integrated Intelligence to develop and execute research plans needed to gain insights into our client’s target audiences, marketplace, and brand/company that will inspire creative integrated campaigns.
- Write creative briefs, brief creative teams, and SME teams (earned media, influencer, social etc.); work with creatives to ensure ideas are on strategy, and work with account leaders to ensure ideas are on-brand.
- Identify measurement KPIs and closely partner with Integrated Intelligence team to develop measurement reporting approach.
- Prepare presentations and present your thinking and ideas through impactful presentations to client and internally audiences.
- Work with the practice lead to build a Research & Insights strategy team based on business needs; provide guidance on their critical thinking and insights/strategy development, and help them to prioritize projects and manage clients.
- Identify measurement KPIs and work with Integrated Intelligence team to develop measurement reporting approach.
What You’ll Need
- A deep understanding of the healthcare system and associated technologies available in the U.S. and globally and how communications can play a role based on medical, legal and regulatory constraints.
- The ability to collaborate with a wide variety of cross-functional teams: creative, account, strategy, and analytics.
- A consultative toolbelt – understanding how to propel decision making, bespoke to client objectives.
- To be a storyteller – you innately understand how to communicate the impact of these designs to a variety of audiences.
- To be an excellent communicator – tailoring complex concepts into logical and simple narratives with a strong ability and interest in medica data, understanding of MOA/MOD and the ability to communicate these things effectively to creatives and other internal SMEs.
- Curiosity – forever attempting to grab a hold of the latest and greatest trends in integrated comms.
- Evangelism – leveraging your understanding of trends to reverse engineer award winning work to be seen as the go-to for examples of what excellence is in our industry.
- Deep insights into HCP and patient behaviors and best practices for how brands should engage in the physical and digital world.
- PESO – knowledge of the primary platforms and best practices for how brands can engage audiences through organic and paid opportunities.
