Social Media Coordinator Job Responsibilities

Build, execute, and manage results-driven social media strategy across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Google, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Vimeo.
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
Create plans and advise on the creation of original and unique content to drive awareness and grow the audience.
Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
Maintain unified branding across different social media channels.
Analyze competitor brands and suggest creative ways to attract more customers and promote marketing content.
Collaborate with the Creative Director to create and maintain a highly effective social and engagement calendar, including an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
Ownership of the content management systems and associated content driving the leading customer-facing portals in use by the Company.
Report to management on key operating metrics and results.
Build Company best practices across our digital marketing and social channels.
Assist in the training of co-workers to use their own social media in a cohesive and beneficial way.
Collaborate with the Creative Director to create campaign talking points, social media toolkits, and other communication strategy documents to support customer engagement teams.
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions.
Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.

Social Media Coordinator Qualifications/Skills

Passion for social media

Fluent in ASL

Strong awareness of Deaf Culture and communication styles.
3+ years of results-oriented digital marketing management driving customer growth and site traffic
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities – this means pulling data from disparate sources into Excel or SQL and turning data into actionable information
Expertise in multiple social media platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter) and associated management tools and analytics
Working knowledge of web development, particularly in Umbraco and WordPress
In-depth understanding of SEO, keyword research, Google AdWords and Analytics, Sprout Social
Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask

Experience With Salesforce, Pardot HTML, And CSS Coding Preferred

Excellent written communication skills
BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field preferred

Work Environment

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time.

Sitting, standing and walking (95-100%)
Keyboarding (40-60%)
Viewing computer monitor, videophone, and cell phone requiring close vision (40-60%)
Lifting computers and other equipment.
Position may require some travel.
