General Description of the Role

In line with Campari Group's strategic priority to establish world-class spirits brands starting from top Global Priorities and focusing on premium+ offer, a specific focus is placed on our premium+ portfolio of brands through dedicated "Campari Group Rare" teams across layers of the business. The objective of Campari Group Rare is to unlock the potential for these brands across key geographies by creating a bespoke business and brand building model, due to an increased strategic focus and development of dedicated capabilities and tools designed to establish long-term value and growth. The GSM Rare Senior Brand Manager (SBM) will lead the design and development of dedicated strategies and tools for the Rare portfolio, significantly contributing to building new capabilities for the broader organization.

Rare includes a premium+ portfolio of 10+ brands and high marks, ranking from partially established gems to new-to-the-market propositions, including but in the medium run not limited to Russell's Reserve, The Glen Grant, Appleton Estate 21yo, Grand Marnier Cuvees, Bisquit & Dubouche', Lallier, JMXO.

The Rare SBM will be responsible for designing a sustainable strategy and way forward for the profitable growth of the related premium+ portfolio. The Rare SBM will drive the Rare portfolio strategy by building the brand vision and roadmap both for the Campari Group Rare Brand as well for the development of the single-brand/expressions belonging to Rare. This high exposure opportunity requires a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset blended with strong marketing skills to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Portfolio Strategy

  • Define the portfolio vision and embed key growth drivers for all brands within the portfolio
  • Lead the consumer discovery and definition in collaboration with the Global Insights team
  • Pioneer a new business model for the Rare portfolio
  • Design and develop distinctive and ownable brand assets unique and well-differentiated to elevate the storytelling of each Rare expression

Rare Brand Leadership

  • Lead the internal and external design and establishment of the Campari Group Rare brand in collaboration with internal key stakeholders at both the local & global level
  • Lead the Campari Group Rare Brand Visual Identity design and execution
  • Contribute to the definition of an internal and external communication plan towards key stakeholders
  • Identify new growth opportunities where the Rare brand can be seed, and a multi-branded approach can positively contribute to the growth of each single brand expression
  • Ideate new business models to further build and accelerate Campari Group Rare development (e.g.: CRM)

Team Leadership

  • Contribute to foster an environment that continuously brings a game changer mindset to build on trials, learnings, and adjustments
  • Support the local Campari Group Rare teams in all aspects of individual brand strategy, positioning, communication while leveraging creativity, digital savviness, and passion for premium spirits
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Strategic Marketing brand teams and with Global Customer & Channel Marketing Team to design and create a dedicated and distinctive set of assets for the Rare expressions
  • Contribute to defining and deploying new capabilities within the Campari Group organization to successfully establish and execute the Rare initiative across layers and markets

Experience Required

  • 8-10 years in brand management with premium+ CPG/luxury experience, premium+ dark spirits background strongly preferred
  • Passion for the spirits industry and premium+ dark spirits in particular
  • MBA preferred; BA/BS required
