Compensation: $34,700 to $75,600 Annually

GYK Antler is looking for a driven Integrated Media Planner to join our team. This position requires a strong self-starter with the motivation to jump right in.

Responsibilities
- Be self-motivated, proactive, reliable, accountable, detail oriented and analytical
- Work collaboratively with integrated media team across all traditional (TV, Radio, Print, OOH) and digital (programmatic, SEM, and paid social, influencer) media to support the development and execution of media plans by helping to:
- Select media channels and make recommendations based on client campaign goals
- Understand the pros/cons of each media type and how that relates to individual client strategies (traditional and digital media)
- Evaluate media kit information, client proposals and costs; Provide POVs
- Negotiate rates and makegoods
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution of media plans, campaign set up, and tracking; Collaborate with account, production, and data/analytics for creative rotation and production team for deadlines and specs and team for proper campaign set up and tracking
- Management of smaller media accounts with minimal supervision
- Development and ongoing management of media flowcharts and budget allocation/reconciliation
- Help set up online campaigns and tracking
- Ongoing campaign monitoring – ensuring TV/Radio/Print spots/ads run as planned; optimization of digital occurs throughout duration
- Monitor, analyze, optimize, and educate based on campaign performance with recommendations on inventory, channel and creative shifts
- Participate in increased number of internal and client meetings
- Develop and nurture media partner relationships
- Responsible for staying on top of latest media trends, technologies and ad platforms and sharing information with larger team/educate; Must have a passion for exploring cutting edge media platforms
- Must embrace uncertainty/change and thrive on the challenge of doing something new
- Maintain the agency’s core values, professional standards and provide leadership to junior members of the media team and overall agency
- Be positive, flexible, and curious
Skills
- 3+ years agency experience planning and buying both traditional and digital channels across multiple verticals, with increasing responsibility (e.g., ad agency media department, media company or client side); In position for 2-3 years
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in ad serving and self-service platforms as well as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain and meet client deadlines
- Knowledge of Kantar, MRI and Advantage a plus
