Christina Relations is a woman-led boutique relations firm that sways across media, entertainment, and event industries. We specialize in PR, brand consulting, social media management, and experience creation. We are storytelling specialists for artists and brands that represent diversity, integrity, and excellence.

This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of marketing included but not limited to PR & Influencer Marketing

About the Internship

We are currently looking for a few interns to join our small team and work directly with me and our two full-time employees. We all work very closely together with high levels of communication and teamwork mentality.

This internship is a summer internship to begin at your earliest availability. We are looking to kick off the internship as soon as mid-May.

This internship is for experience and for college credit only. Each internship is for the duration of the quarter, depending on your preference and schedule, and we ask that you commit 6 hours for each of your intern days, working 3 days a week minimum. It is work from home friendly and we are open to working with your schedule!

Please note that we work on Pacific Standard Time, so please be able to comply with a 9 am - 6 pm PST schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist publicity team on client campaigns
  • Write press releases
  • Create media lists
  • Perform press outreach for clients
  • Build one-pages, decks, and other graphic materials
  • Partake in photoshoot, music video, and other content planning
  • Target audience market research
  • Digital PR placement research
  • Social media campaign strategizing and idea brainstorming
  • Utilize specialized programs such as Tagger, Meltwater, Canva, etc
  • Enjoy new music!

Ideal Candidate:

  • Interest in entertainment, lifestyle, and fashion
  • Any experience in public relations, marketing, communications, or similar fields (previous internship or classes included)
  • Enjoys working with social media platforms
  • Team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being flexible, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Must maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excited to learn and gain hands-on experience in client relations, PR, communication, and event planning
  • Love for pop culture
  • Google Drive experience
  • Social media and graphic design experience are a plus!
