JOB DESCRIPTION:
The JUST Social Media Manager will be a key member of a small but mighty JUST marketing team. The person in this role will be responsible for setting and creating the feel, tone, and voice for @JUST social media channels while ensuring effective and efficient execution. This will entail managing all JUST social media platforms—Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn— while aligning with marketing objectives. Specific tasks will include creating monthly social calendars, copywriting for posts, working with and art directing external content creators, handling all influencer relations, UGC capture, establishing KPI’s/reporting processes, and ensuring the JUST brand is portrayed accurately and effectively across the different platforms. The Social Media Manager will also be responsible for establishing a timeline to introduce and manage new social platforms for the brand (TikTok and others).
The Social Media Manager will be able to think on a strategic level communicating brand positioning effectively on various social platforms as well as execute on tasks required to bring that vision to fruition. In other words, be a smart, thoughtful, strategic doer who is laser focused on details without losing sight of the vision. And the JUST Social Media Manager will walk the same walk as the brand: be bright, fun, sustainable, humble, unrighteous, and authentic.
This role will report to the Vice President of Brand & Product Strategy and will collaborate closely with the marketing, ecommerce, and customer service teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Oversee day-to-day management of all social media platforms—Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and introduce new social platforms per brand timeline.
● Produce/manage production of all social media content by working with in-house creative director and/or external independent contractors (photographers, videographers, animators, etc.)
● Write copy for all social posts
● Develop monthly social calendars for approval
● Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, hashtag use and terminology on all platforms
● Facilitate scaling brand and product awareness through identified social media channels
● Work with JUST internal teams to create and implement social media strategies -identify and execute on brand marketing goals, sales and partnership goals.
● Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience—DM management, community management
● Work with in-house customer service team to ensure all customer service DM’s are managed appropriately
● Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through each social media platform
● Manage all in-house influencer relations and UGC capture—including influencer identification, brand advocates, handling incoming requests
● Manage external influencer campaigns
● Create social partnerships with other brands for social collaboration moments
● Conduct social events—IG Live moments, social contests and other opportunities
● Collaborate and brainstorm in a creative team environment
● Meet deadlines and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment with multiple active projects at any given time.
● Evolve as the company grows and the position responsibilities increase
REQUIREMENTS:
● 3-5 years of social media management experience
● Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, journalism, creative writing, public relations or related marketing or writing field
● Proficient using multi-social posting/reporting programs such as Hootsuite
● Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
● Excellent written/copy-writing and verbal communication skills
● Experience with photography, motion content and animated gifs
● Experience with social shopping platforms--IG shop, FB shop, and others
● Ability to identify and understand social trends and translate them through the JUST brand lens
● Experience managing independent contractor and agencies
● Stellar organizational skills; commitment to quality and accuracy
● Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater social marketing campaigns to capture their attention on each unique social platform
● Be a team player and be able to work in a start-up environment
