Seeking an Assistant, Digital Marketing & Social Media for our DKNY Brand in NYC!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGMENT
- Lives in the Sprinklr tool, owning 3 distinct areas:
- 1) REPORTING: As the first & foremost job responsibility: the Digital Assistant will own G-III’s Organic Social Measurement capabilities & roadmap with the VP by (a) setting up necessary real-time Dashboards in Sprinklr and (b) crafting & then recurrently distro’ing Monthly Organic Social Media Recaps for each brand, as well as Campaign-based measuring (real-time dashboards + reports to distro).
- 2) OUTBOUND: Oversees the Marketing Assistant in their task of taking the approved content calendars from the Digital team’s Sr. Manager & Coordinator for their respective brands, ensuring the Asst utilizes the DAM (digital asset management) feature in the tool to properly schedule all assets+copy for each brand’s respective active social platforms.
- 3) INBOUND: A two-fold task, it’s first & foremost capturing posts from 3rd parties associated with the various brands’ influencer/product-seeding efforts, ensuring the Digital Team members running social are engaging back, and that we’re capturing the assets & metrics for necessary recapping. And secondly: Oversees the Marketing Assistant in their essentially Community Manager role of monitoring all inbound messaging/commenting Sprinklr columns for the various brands’ respective social platforms, ensuring the Asst is accurately tagging messages to enable the necessary reporting, and is appropriately routing customer service inquiries to respective correct colleagues for addressing.
- Light support of the Social Media elements on official/e-commerce websites (for applicable brands) by simply overseeing the Marketing Assistant’s work in the specific Social Annex tool of pulling in UGC content to the sites that has been approved by the appropriate Digital team members.
INFLUENCER
- Pulls ad hoc reporting of social metrics of proposed influencers handles
- Within the INBOUND role above, monitors the gifted or paid influencers’ channels for posting of our respective brands, flagging to the Digital Team members running social to ensure the brands engage, as well as saving the actual content files for necessary recap reports later, or where applicable: liaising with agency partner to obtain insights reports from the paid posts.
MEDIA
· Supports the Digital & Media teams with seasonal asset & copy organization for paid social; and any other paid media efforts, where applicable.
ADMIN / GENERAL
· Partner with the VP to manage the annual Digital Budget, routing invoices and keeping the ledger always up-to-date.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· ~1 years of marketing, retail, or project management experience
· Bachelor's degree preferred in related area
· General understanding of web and social platforms & analytics tools (FB/IG/TW & their respective insights features)
· Extremely focused attention to detail personality
- Strong multi-tasking skills being able to progress multiple projects for multiple brands forward at same time
- Excellent oral & written communications skills
- General interest & excitement about fashion/lifestyle and social media/influencer area of digital marketing
· Understanding of web and social analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook analytics, Twitter analytics, Instagram analytics, etc.)ments at all levels.
