It is relied upon by over 150 culinary schools in the US and has been used to train more than 52,000 students and master chefs worldwide. If it is not a Vitamix, it’s just a blender.

The successful candidate will have at least four years’ experience managing social media platforms for brands. The Social Media & Influencers Specialist will ensure active and engaged communities by proactively executing and implementing elements of the Vitamix community engagement strategy across multiple channels and platforms. This new role would support social media, content development, and influencer activations across the Vitamix household business as a key member of the Community & Relationships team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures overall social media goals and objectives are met by driving strategic tactics for the plans supporting the larger Vitamix corporate and marketing strategy.
  • Innovates presence across existing and new social/digital channels and actively identifies and executes test opportunities for engagement and channel use.
  • Manages day-to-day elements of Vitamix paid social budget with agency partners and Sr. Manager; drives decision-making for paid support across brand initiatives.
  • Manages core set of flagship influencer partners for large-scale brand campaigns, and supports microinfluencer efforts as needed with Coordinator, Influencers + Social.
  • Supports management of ongoing marketing content calendar as well as writing/content creation.
  • Responsible for developing and sharing reporting for paid and organic efforts across social channels and campaigns with larger integrated campaign and leadership.
  • Utilizes social listening tools to proactively generate online engagement and finds new ways to report and capture data in order to continuously improve social media performance.
  • Assists in the day-to-day management of agency partner projects and is point within C&R team for internal creative/project management process.
  • On-call rotation on a weekly basis.

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Dropbox, Workfront, and social listening tools like Sprinklr.
  • Expertise around Vitamix competencies: Drive for Results Resourcefulness, Sense of Urgency, Communication, Accountability, and Detail Orientation.
  • Experience participating in a wide variety of social media activities such as influencer management, paid and organic social strategies, etc.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices. A passion for bringing new ideas forward to both internal and agency teams.
  • Experience establishing metrics, gleaning community insights and reporting/recommending strategies that achieve marketing goals.
  • Solid organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects without missing deadlines. Works with team members to project completion, ensuring attention to detail along the way.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner.
  • Flexibility, resourcefulness and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing and growing environment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related field.
