Role Overview
We are looking to expand the Marketing team by hiring a dedicated Social Media Coordinator to our team. The marketing team is responsible for telling the story of FOLX to our community, as well as engaging the community on all our social channels and driving people back to our website.
The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, and results-oriented and knows the queer and trans space on all relevant platforms.
Responsibilities ✍️
- Execute on a results-driven social media strategy
- Help us grow and manage Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter and other social
- Develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms
- Edit TikTok/Reels content
- Assist in the creation of written, meme making, and photo content
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels
- Collaborate with marketing team to execute on social media calendar posting
- Monitor social media channels for trends and participate in conversations
- Community management across all social channels
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics
- Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy
- Identify key influencers and manage outreach and relationship communications

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing a branded social platform
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Excellent social listening skills
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Strong copywriting skills
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and quickly
