Senior Social Media Manager
Good American is advancing the body movement seen in popular culture, which has already redefined what it means to be sexy and is knocking down outdated physical stereotypes. You will join a team of seasoned fashion and digital executives and help guide the brand on its rapid growth.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategy and execution of the Good American social channels.
- Create, post and execute Good American content across all social channels that are engaging and on brand
- Build an engaging brand presence on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Snapchat, YouTube and more
- Assist with production and promotion of engaging content to coincide with product stories, marketing messages, seasonal initiatives and brand news
- Measure, analyze and report on all social media initiatives, providing recaps to internal teams and partners on a weekly, monthly and special event basis
- Coordinate with the Art Department on the creation and organization of assets for social media
- Execute initiatives to expand brand’s digital presence and reach, including but not limited to partnerships, user generated content, leveraging influencers and sweepstakes
- Collaborate and contribute with Brand and Ecommerce teams on projects
- Proactively monitor social media channels for inquiries, customer service issues and questions; escalate to appropriate internal or external partners as necessary
- Community management and foster 2-way conversation with users on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
- Stay on the cutting edge of industry trends, prominent cultural conversations, new platforms and best practices
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years’ experience in social media marketing, editorial or social department of an ecommerce, digital media or agency environment
- Deep understanding of social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
- Genuine passion for all things style, digital influencer and pop culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creative and innovative thinker with ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of the contemporary brand and direct-to-consumer market
- A positive team collaborator
- Proficient in Mac, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools a plus
