Job Responsibilities

  • You’ll be joining our strategy team, working with our strategists, our VP Strategy and Chief Strategy Officer, plus primary stakeholders like Sales and Marketing, and even presenting directly to our clients, as well working with other teams across the Collab, Inc family.
  • You’ll be working on both pitches and special projects.
  • For pitches, you’ll balance a volume of client pitch-work across all verticals at any one time, owning the entire pitch deck and process, including making recommendations for budgets, creative thought starters, talent and media recommendations. Our pitches focus on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube - with creators at the center of the work, and also other core platforms like Snapchat, Facebook, Twitch and Pinterest, and emerging platforms like Clubhouse.
  • You’ll conduct research to identify strong, data-driven insights for all relevant social media platforms including but not limited to creators to watch, hashtags, challenges, engagement on campaigns. Your research will include understanding our client’s business. All of your work will be anchored in the insights you build on data.
  • Your pitch decks will deliver a compelling story and flow, including strategic frameworks that justify and inspire why you’re making the recommendations chosen.
  • You’ll ideate to develop on trend, culturally relevant creative thought starters that can deliver to a client’s marketing objectives in ways that excite the client and their target audience
  • You’ll have a deep understanding of our in-network talent list, and go out of network to find additional talent as needed, who can execute the campaign, pricing them accordingly to work within budget constraints, and ensuring they meet the client’s criteria.
  • You’ll partner with our media team to construct a paid media strategy that will deliver to the clients KPIs and targets for their campaigns.
  • Ultimately, for pitches, you’ll be working closely with your sales counterparts to ensure we successfully meet the client’s needs and win their business, and you’ll play an active role in ensuring that projects get across the finish line, acting as an overseer/ project manager.
  • For special projects, you’ll work directly with our VP Strategy to identify project needs, scope them out, determine stakeholders and dependencies, and execute them.
  • Examples of recent specials projects include reviewing how we improve our pitch process and build better decks, ensure a suite of tools are in place to facilitate our work, exploring and developing our POV on platforms as well as a slew of strategic partnership projects to build our wider business concerns.

You

  • Are someone who has a very strong grasp of social media culture, and its effects at a consumer, category and cultural level. You follow, watch, and engage with social media creators.
  • Have a strong understanding of social media platforms (eg. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube etc.), their unique elements, and best practices for content and media strategy
  • You’ve worked in a similar role as a Brand Strategist client side with a focus on creator and influencer marketing, or platform side in a similar role, or even in the strategy and planning team of a creative or media agency.
  • You have 5+ years of experience building compelling pitch decks that deliver to the client’s needs.
  • You’re highly-organized and proactive, able to troubleshoot quickly and find new solutions to things.
  • You know how to collaborate with different teams and know when to ask for help
  • Most importantly, you’re a strategic thinker. Your mind can travel from high-level strategy down to tactics and back up again easily.
  • You’re an excellent communicator, an active listener, a rapport builder, and someone who can work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You deliver to deadlines whilst balancing multiple different priorities.
  • You’re a leaned in team player who wants to help everyone level up.
