Position Summary

Job Description

IMG Academy is searching for someone who is on the cutting edge of content marketing and social media to lead our omni-channel content marketing strategy and execution. This person is creative, collaborative, data-driven and well-versed in the creation, distribution and measurement of compelling content.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop strategy and oversee execution of an omni-channel content strategy plan, including relevant social channels (FB, TW, IG, TikTok, YouTube) and “traditional” lead-gen based evergreen content for .com
  • Lead a team that includes a social media strategist, video editor and video content producer, as well as maintain a roster of freelancers and vendors for scaling based on need
  • Establish and track KPIs (with help from data reporters) to understand what is performing, what is not and suggestions for adapting strategy
  • Create weekly, monthly and annual content calendars
  • Implement channel-specific voice and identity guidelines
  • Improve on-campus content contributor initiatives
  • Oversee influencer marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with creative and digital teams to ensure brand integrity and maximize distribution
  • Strategize with partnership activation team on curated content for key partners
  • Manage annual content boosting budget
  • Assist in content capture when needed
  • Maintain full understanding of products and business trends
  • Keep IMG Academy at the forefront of content marketing with advanced tactics and demonstrated results

Knowledge, Skills And Ability

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven history of content marketing strategy, execution and measurement
  • Understanding of content planning/scheduling tools
  • Strong awareness of content and social trends by demo (i.e. teen vs. parent)
  • Base knowledge of creative software tools (i.e. Photoshop)
  • Strong grammatical and writing proficiency
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Base understanding of other marketing tactics (paid digital media, SEO, email marketing) to know where content marketing could slot in to boost distribution and reach
  • Analytics proficiency

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree in marketing, sports marketing, social media, communications or related field
  • Interest in sports
  • Bilingual

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The role will occasionally require extended and weekend hours during peak seasons
  • The role may require lifting, moving, pushing or pulling equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
  • Should be able to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
  • Must be able to move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays is required
