The SF Fed is looking for a strategic and creative storyteller with a background in digital marketing and social media to join us as our Social and Digital Media Producer! As our Social and Digital Media Producer, you will play a pivotal role in helping to craft the Bank’s digital portfolio. By leveraging digital marketing best practices, you will help us create and publish content that engages key partners, acquires new audiences, while informing and delighting.
Your Essential Responsibilities Include
- Spearheading daily content updates and operations, while managing communities across all digital accounts.
- Contributing as primary copywriter and editor for owned social media channels, with an audience-first mindset.
- Managing the social media editorial calendar, identifying potential scheduling gaps on a weekly basis.
- Regularly tracking, monitoring, and reporting out on social chatter related to the Bank using tools such as Meltwater, Sprout Social Listening, or Brand 24. Leads setting up queries on relevant platforms.
- Working with designers and videographers to ensure that the creative is accurate, sized appropriately, engaging, and informative.
- Continually optimizing campaigns and content, while tracking engagement and audience growth over time. Assist in pulling marketing data from analytics and listening platforms.
- Assist in providing strategic social input for key initiatives and integrated campaigns.
- Assist in identifying, managing, and developing strategies for emerging channels, with the opportunity to eventually lead those accounts.
- Building and maintain constructive relationships with internal business line partners and colleagues.
- Proactively communicating on plans, status, and issues to the team and internal partners.
- Researching and identifying influencers across multiple social platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires four or more years of related consumer marketing and/or public relations experience, including social media or influencer marketing.
- Strong writer with excellent communication skills (verbal, presentation). Experience with content strategy a plus.
- Intermediate understanding of all social media channels, messaging apps, and emerging digital channels. This includes but is not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, Clubhouse, Handshake, LinkedIn, Facebook, Medium, Reddit, Quora, YouTube, Snapchat, WeChat, WhatsApp – both as a marketer and as a user.
- Extremely strong “attention to the details” with a proven ability to organize and prioritize projects efficiently to meet tight deadlines (whether in the work place or school).
- Experience with Boolean search and setting up queries. Working knowledge of analytics, listening, and reporting tools, such as Sprout Social Analytics and Meltwater Social Listening, a plus.
- Well-versed in Adobe Creative Cloud – including Photoshop and InDesign.
- An ability to work with all levels of an organization. Collaborative spirit with a standout colleague mentality. Self-motivated and conceptual problem solver.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
- Some familiarity with sponsored content and advertising standard methodologies, including paid social, retargeting, and SEM.
- Strong interest in emerging digital trends, formats and technology.
- Familiarity with the podcasting ecosystem a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card Holder with the intent to become a U.S. Citizen is required.
