About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, thought leader who will help develop and maintain a culture that’s fulfilling and empowering. As the Head of People, you will be in charge of enhancing our culture, establishing the HR foundation and keeping our team happy and engaged.

You will lead strategy, development, and management of People policies and practices, in areas such as onboarding, training and development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee relations. To be successful in this role you must be a true team player, and passionate about the employee experience. This is an exciting opportunity to bolster the foundation, processes, and systems as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Scale the standard People operations
  • Develop our people strategies and programs including performance management, talent acquisition & onboarding, compensation & benefits, retention, headcount planning, and analytics, policies and compliance, employee engagement, training, and cultural initiatives
  • Work with the team to ensure an excellent onboarding experience, setting the stage for a long and exciting career at Tagger
  • Utilize people-related data to aid in strategic decision-making; develop key metrics to measure employee engagement, performance and retention
  • Establish and implement leading HR systems and processes to support a workforce that will scale
  • Establish new Tagger initiatives that help drive our culture by creating programs, tools, and experiences that engage our team at all levels and encourage a positive, adaptive, and accountable culture

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree from a strong university
  • 5-7 years of leading People in high-growth companies, and at least 2 years at manager level
  • Experience leading and building highly productive cultures and teams
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compensation, benefits, interpersonal development, employee relations, and training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A drive to succeed no matter what the obstacles
  • Super organized and process-oriented with a willingness to get into the details (you will be working on everything and anything)
  • Well-developed leadership, communications, team building and influencing skills; unquestioned integrity; and the experience, confidence and stature to effectively address sensitive HR and business issue
