As the Product Marketing Manager for API, you will be responsible for setting the go-to-market strategy for integrating key enterprise partners with the TikTok API. You will partner closely with the partnerships team to develop the overall API strategic direction, define our go-to-market strategy, and assess key Marketing API gaps. This person will understand the needs of the market and the potential impact of an API-first philosophy. This person will build a cross-functional team to bring that strategy to life.

This person uses his/her experience and technical knowledge working with other platform APIs to develop the strategy, bring together cross-functional stakeholders to execute on his/her plans, and align senior product leadership around those plans. You understand market trends, the competitive landscape, and have experience applying those to positively influence advertisers, agencies, and other partners for full API integration.

Responsibilities

- Define the go-to-market strategy for TikTok's ever-evolving Marketing API. You are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations for product launches.

- Work cross-functionally with both the sales and product teams to develop and execute regional programs and initiatives across North America.

- Partner closely with the sales team to deeply understand user pain points, form B2B requirements and prioritize solutions to influence the direction of product development.

- Understand the needs and demands of our commercial customers and AdTech partners, use your creative storytelling abilities to bridge gaps between teams and clients.

- Become the SME of the most nascent TikTok advertising products and leverage these products to achieve our commercial customer's goals.

- Prioritize, distill and surface market intelligence to shape future advertising products

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- BA/BS degree or above. MBA preferred.

- 5+ years of product marketing or product management experience with API and digital ad products.

- 5+ years of experience from the digital advertising industry.

- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes.

- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking. Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change.

- A commercial mindset with experience building business cases focused around product / feature development and innovation.

- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills.

- Customer service orientation and experience working in a client facing capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with major publisher platform API

- Experience in B2B marketing campaigns

- Experience working with programmatic media

- Experience working with influencer marketing
