About The Role
We’re looking for big idea creators who understand how to blend creative and media to create high impact activations.
This role of Activation Strategy Director is the new evolution of the Creative Director. They are an avant-garde leader, and robust creative thinker. Working on one of our biggest and most prestigious accounts, the Activation Strategy Director will be responsible for working with media partners to develop one-of-a-kind high impact activations that range from live events, to influencer activations to film/content initiatives.
This is not your typical role. We’re not looking for a traditional copy or art director. We’re looking for someone who has a dynamic background finding interesting creative insights that inspire multi-platform big ideas. The ASD will work with our strategic leadership and media partners (ie. Warner Media, Disney, Uninterrupted) to produce game-changing creative ideas that amplify our in-market creative campaigns. The idea candidate should have experience seeing an idea from inception through to execution – with an eye for innovation and excellence.
The Activation Strategy Director is a senior level position, who will work hand in hand with the Group Strategy Director + Chief Creative Officer to guide the activations for our premier consumer tech client.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in creative role, ideally at least 2 in an agency or media publisher
  • Superior storyteller (both written and verbal) with a clear and concise style
  • Ability to write and inspire others to craft simple, clear and inspirational creative briefs and strategic decks
  • Master of technological, cultural and media trends and best practices
  • Adobe CS proficiency
