Summary of Position:

The Director, Influencer Relations will oversee the strategy and campaign execution for FORMA’s current and growing influencer marketing programs across all brands in our portfolio. This includes Morphe, Bad Habit skincare, Playa haircare and Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics. The ability to identify key collaboration partners and maintain strong relationships within each brand’s influencer communities is a central part of this position. The role will lead all efforts to identify and engage influencers, manage outreach programs, and create engaging, brand worthy content. This position will also conduct effective analysis of market data, using key industry analytic tools, to inform future strategy.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Lead all efforts around talent discovery, building and maintaining influencer relationships where a mutually beneficial relationship can be nurtured to deliver success in to the brand.
  • Manage all influencer programs from briefing to final delivery of assets.
  • Identify opportunities to develop content for influencer own channels, Morphe channels, in line with both the influencers own goals and Morphe strategic objectives and NPD calendar.
  • Develop campaigns to engage influencers and build relationships with the goal of creating a long-term, value-add partnership for both parties.
  • Partner with agencies as appropriate in all markets to direct influencer program priorities and execution
  • Concept and execute brand aligned community building experiences and events to create and maintain engagement.
  • Lead team to concept, manage and execute creative mailers, influencer gifting and fulfilling day-to-day influencer sample requests.
  • Oversee the infrastructure of company databases capturing influencer partnerships and social activities, including personal profiles, communication preferences and any details which will allow high value engagement.
  • Monitor, track and share new and continuing trends in influencer marketing and social activity, platforms and tools to align to brand voice and strategy
  • Analyze and report the effectiveness of programs and competitive analysis to inform recommendations for future strategic direction (EMV, etc)
  • Perform competitive analysis, industry research and assessment of best practices.
  • Utilize social tools, including Tribe Dynamics, to monitor conversations, measure influencer activity against brand KPIs and identify new engagement opportunities to maximize brand and influencer coverage
  • Act as a leader, friend, confidante and concierge to influencers, utilizing maturity, transparency and integrity to develop deep partnerships which helps our influencers grow in conjunction with Morphe.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of beauty influencer marketing, talent relations and/or PR experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications or related field
  • Experience managing relationships with influencers, industry players and understanding of the digital beauty landscape
  • Must be an excellent communicator, natural networker, team player and highly-organized
  • Ability to work across many departments.
  • Strong Project management skills with ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated interest in fostering the development of others and ability to work well in a team environment.
