Social Media Manager- BHLDN

We are looking for a strategic, analytical, and process-driven Social Media Manager to work collaboratively with the Creative, Digital, PR, Marketing and Merchandising teams to grow brand awareness and support consumer engagement through social media channels, and community. The Social Media Manager will develop BHLDN’s social media playbook and lead programs that inspire customer advocacy and engagement. This role focuses on maintaining multiple social channels while building a loyal community within our social media platforms to nurture and support the BHLDN customer journey. This role is responsible for developing and executing social media campaigns, leveraging key metrics to illustrate the efficacy of those campaigns, and supporting the production of engaging and inspirational content.

The ideal candidate for this role lives and breathes social media and knows how to use it to target new customers, build community, and support the development and deployment of optimized content in-line with business goals. This candidate will also understand the power of influencer marketing and content creators, partnering with the PR, Marketing and Creative teams who can support business objectives.

This candidate is passionate about digital marketing, knowledgeable about current trends, and has a proven track record of using social media to increase brand awareness and engagement. They know how to develop engaging social content, have a deep understanding of both established and emerging social media channels, and can flex between thinking big and diving deep. This candidate has used social media to build brands, create awareness, and generate advocacy strategically. They will have developed successful social media marketing campaigns with quantifiable KPIs and have demonstrated the ability to think big and implement innovative ideas in ways that facilitate social sharing and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead social strategy and drive meaningful growth for our brand and our business while partnering with the creative, marketing, PR and merchandising teams to create relevant, optimized content across all social channels.
  • Roll out targeted social campaigns that align with business goals, brand building, community growth, product launches, promotional periods, and other brand milestones
  • Grow followers and brand advocates by improving engagement across all organic social channels
  • Develop social metrics reporting, lead hind-sighting, identify trends and regularly communicate insights, key learnings and recommendations to brand. Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal / qualitative data into action.
  • Work closely with analytics team to measure the value and impact of our social media channels and campaigns. Use data to optimize and iterate on the approach
  • Establish social media guidelines for all channels, including all internal and external teams/partners
  • Leverage expertise in social media trends, best practices, and the BHLDN brand to grow our community and optimize channel performance
  • Build and maintain all social media communities and become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate- Monitor, listen and respond to users on daily basis, conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotion
  • Partner with the creative team to guide our influencer partners to create content that aligns with the brand and supports the goals of product launches, events, and other brand initiatives
  • Own UCG initiatives and BHLDN Bride, #BHLDNBride campaign from start to finish with an overall goal to create more submissions and generate UGC
  • Oversee all contests, sweepstakes and giveaways leveraging across all channels with a goal of engagement and growth
  • Manage organic relationships with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and 3rd Party vendors
  • Stay informed on the constantly changing landscape of social media, spotting industry and cultural trends, best practices and emerging technology and risk
  • Support PR, stores, events and collaborations through social promotion

Qualifications

  • 5+ years working in a social media/community management role for a major brand or agency
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube etc.
  • A strong understanding of the capabilities of social media and its ability to connect with a wide range of audiences.
  • Analytical approach to social channels understanding the importance of balancing brand-building with conversion and customer insights
  • Advanced platform experience with Social Studio, Dash Hudson, Google Analytics, GRIN, FOHR or similar platforms/tools
  • Team player and collaborator who maintains composure in high pressure and fast-paced situations
  • An inherent knowledge of content that resonates across the social landscape
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Very strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
