Job Title

Sofitel New York is seeking for a Senior Public Relations and E-Commerce Manager with minimum three years' experience working with a luxury hotel in a high demand, high profile market.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Senior Public Relations and E-Commerce Manager, you will manage all aspects of public relations and digital marketing, which include, but are not limited to: research, campaign & content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting. You will also create public relations opportunities by cultivating existing and developing new strategic partnerships relating to new business, news and successes. Digital marketing responsibilities include, but not limited to: SEO best practices, PPC campaigns, META, and content management on websites and partner platforms. Demonstrated ability developing creative social media and influencer marketing campaigns required. You are a team player and have a collaborative approach, while also possessing the ability to work independently and wear an entrepreneur hat.

Frequent media facing activity requires flexibility including some nights and weekends.

Your Experience And Skills Include

  • - Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills with large and small groups
  • - Possess a roll up your sleeves, do what it takes mentality
  • - Analyze PR and social media actions and results on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities
  • - Create engaging and professional visuals utilizing brand assets and guidelines
  • - Uncover and cultivate strategic partnerships along with Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager
  • - Monitor and update content on websites and all partner platforms
  • - Having a passion for staying current with social media trends and tools including attending networking and educational events, reading social posts, blogs, articles, and listening to podcasts will be essential to be successful in this role.
  • - Ability to communicate in French highly desirable.
  • - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, is a self-starter who maintains a high level of professionalism in appearance and manner at all times.
  • - Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
