Social Media Strategist
Dooley Social Studio is actively looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist to join our team. This person is a strong relationship-builder who listens well and takes action. He or she is primarily responsible for ongoing development and implementation of our clients’ unique social media strategies across both organic and paid.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and support key client accounts
- Manage each client’s scope of work to ensure services are delivered according to set expectations
- Work with our Creative Director and external creative resources to plan, develop and execute campaigns and content across channels
- Collaborate with our Community Managers to build and grow an online community around our client brands
- Manage the distribution of client content, from paid media to micro-influencer marketing
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports based on established KPIs for each client
Support the Ad Ops team
- Translate client strategy into paid media plan with KPIs
- Execute paid media plan (set up and launch ads)
- Measure and optimize based on campaign performance
Identify growth opportunities
- Identify opportunities to expand the scope of client social campaigns and engagement
- Assist in the refinement of Dooley’s service offerings and pricing
- Assist in identifying solutions to enhance internal processes and organization
Create and drive industry best practices
- Lead training sessions and workshops for both employees and clients related to evolving social media tools and methods
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and other information beneficial to clients and colleagues and report both verbally and in writing
Advance Dooley’s credibility and reputation
- Demonstrate Dooley’s industry leadership by sharing knowledge via online and offline channels, such as speaking or writing.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education in a relevant degree, or with demonstrable experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with servicing clients, demonstrating strong communication and project management skills
- Experience with media planning and buying across Facebook and Instagram (additional platforms a bonus)
- Passion for all things social media and a desire to work in the space
- Knowledge of the primary social media channels and how they best work together to support specific strategies
- Experience producing digital content, including photography and video
- Knowledge of social media analytical tools and how to use these to produce insightful reports
