Job Overview
The Analyst, Affiliate Marketing is responsible for performance optimization of the Bloomingdales.com affiliate channel, which includes management of partner relationships, and planning and prioritization of internal co-op requests and co-op funds, with an emphasis on Influencer Marketing networks (i.e. RewardStyle, ShopStyle). Collaboration and cultivation of strong relationships with our vendors is essential.
Essential Functions
- Manage day-to-day functions of the Affiliate channel to include: Creating text links for Affiliate Network. Providing creative assets to Affiliate Partners and communicating updates and/or changes to promotional cadence in a timely manner. Auditing top partner sites for correct verbiage and ensuring all posted content meets Bloomingdale’s brand guidelines
- Liaise with Affiliate Network (Rakuten Linkshare) daily to ensure program touchpoints (links, creative, newsletters, etc.) are up to date and accurate
- Create and maintain tracking of various data points for internal use and analysis to draw conclusions/deploy strategies
- Closely monitor promotional calendar, ensuring that appropriate tactics are in place to drive demand
- Partner with colleagues on the Marketing Effectiveness team to set Demand Plans at the weekly and monthly level
- Engage with publishers through frequent communications
- Create and execute co-op strategies across influencer platforms, working directly with internal merchant teams to understand their goals and execute campaigns that promote those goals
Qualifications And Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
- 3-5 years related experience
- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
- Hands-on experience with Affiliate networks (Rakuten Linkshare, Commission Junction, etc.) a plus.
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Suites; Excel and PowerPoint required. Skilled with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and Powerpoint.
Physical Requirements
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
- Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
- Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
- Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
