Associate Manager of Global Communications
MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
fresh is seeking a Communications professional to support the brand on a global capacity to create a consistent global brand voice and play a key role in developing existing and emerging international markets.
The Associate Manager of Global Communications will support the day-to-day development and execution of Global Communications strategies, local market communications, and global launch asset toolkits/activations. The Associate Manager will also help to identify partners and talent for limited-edition Global programs and collaborations. This position will aide in liaising with local regions & PR Managers around the world, and HQ global cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication across all programming.
The Associate Manager of Global Communications is a dedicated individual in the field of public relations, capable of executing initiatives that will contribute to raising Fresh’s brand awareness across the globe.
RESPONSIBILITIES
International Market Support & Reporting
- Communicate with international markets and internal 360 teams on a daily basis to manage Communications teams operations including: launch assets, press releases, EMV (earned media value) reports, media inquiries, brand imagery and assets, storytelling requests, as well as new market openings.
- Support international markets in implementing communication strategies and programs in their respective markets.
- Support global social media influencer strategy in partnership with international markets to fuel exponential growth in Earned Media Value.
- Support in developing fresh’s unique founder relations strategy to gain maximum impact and deliver always on awareness by liaising with global markets, editors, and influencers on their appearance opportunities
- Maintain global tracking and monitor activity for optimal effectiveness of product launches, campaigns, and/or events
- Organize and prepare monthly global communications reports which will include requesting local market and third party data as well as performing monthly, annual, and competitor analysis to uncover key learnings, insights, trends, and opportunities
Brand Guidelines, Product Launch Guidelines, and Activation Assets
- Support Global Communications team to create guidelines and toolkits for international markets including always on communication strategies and local influencer campaigns to grow brand influence, “cool factor” and ensure global consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage PR asset creation for all launches including press releases, mailing materials, event assets/guidelines, press Q&As, stationary, etc.
- Assist in developing brand campaigns with Global Communications Team and support local markets in execution
- Support in the development of the brand archive by collaborating with cross-functional teams and founders
- Partner with Global Packaging teams to forecast and develop global creative mailers and other ongoing activations
- Track KPI’s to measure launch and program effectiveness, ensure achievement of ROI.
Brand Partnerships and Collaborations
- Support Global Communications team on brand partnerships that include strategic communications opportunities or collaborations by researching and sharing insights on emerging global artists, brands, or trends.
- Assist in ideating, proposing and developing disruptive global partnership opportunities and PR driven brand campaigns for global launches or key initiatives whether through influencer integration, co-branded partnerships or limited-life collaborations.
· Support in nurturing relationships and managing partnership relations.
Branded Experiences
- Support the development and execution of major global press trips as well as international press and influencer events including overseeing full trip logistics, events, and activities.
- Assist in guideline planning and execution of influencer activations for local market executions.
- Develop Global influencer activation recaps and key learnings
Departmental Support
- Manage all necessary vendor setup, invoicing, and payment as well as market reclasses.
- Manage Global PR samples and replenishment as well as coordinating mailings both domestic and international.
What you will learn in the first 6 months:
- Through collaboration candidate will develop cross functional relationships across 360 global team departments including marketing, digital, creative and product development.
- By creating a constant dialogue with all international markets candidate will learn about the complexities in developing consistent brand awareness in all markets.
- With the entire global communications team, candidate will be a key team player in first new product launch since the release of new forever fresh sustainability platform.
What you will achieve in 12 months:
- Act as point person for 360 global team departments and the international markets to help develop a globally consistent brand awareness strategy.
- Through 360 collaborations and in partnership with the entire global communications team, candidate will work on building a strategic new product launch in 2022.
- By creating a constant dialogue with 360 partners and the founders, initiate the development of the brand archive.
- By nurturing relationships and outreach, candidate will help support and secure a brand partnership / collaboration for 2023
PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of domestic and/or international communications experience, preferably within the beauty/ fashion, lifestyle and/or retail industry, China experience, influencer marketing, and founder management/relationships a plus
- Passion for beauty and fresh
- Candidate must demonstrate attention to detail, be process-oriented, organized with ability to prioritize, resourceful, and proactive
- Team player, multi-tasker, creative thinker and excellent communicator
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills,
- A natural relationship -builder with the ability to work well with a strong network of peers and partners
- Awareness of and passionate about social media across platforms/markets (IG, TikTok, WeChat, Weibo, Red, Pinterest, etc.)
- Experienced in digital analytics and social listening tools, measuring campaign ROI and analyzing metrics to support overall influencer strategy; experience with Tribe a plus
- Flexible to accommodate early morning or late calls with international markets
- Passion for understanding different cultures and global trends & able to travel to markets
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
