Overview
In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to develop marketing content strategies and assets that drive awareness, adoption, advocacy and growth among Mitel’s existing customer base.
As a key member of our content team, you’ll pair a strategic mindset with your innate ability to concept, develop and curate compelling content that supports the buying journey and helps Mitel earn customers for life. Working collaboratively with internal and external subject matter experts, you’ll use your passion for storytelling and sharp project management skills to create and produce integrated content that inspires customer adoption and preference for Mitel’s services.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a strong understanding of Mitel’s corporate positioning and solution/product offerings to drive a compelling message and consistent tone
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide strategic and tactical support for customer retention & growth campaigns including messaging, content assets, distribution, and post-campaign analysis
- Edit customer-facing materials for other teams as needed to ensure content conveys consistent tone, positioning, and relevance while being grammatically correct and optimized for search
CREATE
- Plan and author/curate content that increases awareness and adoption of Mitel’s solutions among existing users, including emails, social content, videos, infographics, guides and more
- Develop concise yet compelling digital content for Mitel’s web site and email nurture campaigns to educate current customers on the value and features of Mitel’s solutions
- Source and create compelling customer case studies, testimonial videos and other success stories
- Source and author blog/vlog content that increases user adoption and engagement while supporting cross-sell/upsell opportunities
MANAGE
- Leverage outside firms as needed to increase content throughput or elevate subject matter expertise; serve as the project lead for asset development to ensure positioning, creative, budgetary and deadline requirements are met
- Maintain Mitel’s editorial calendar and content library, auditing content regularly for relevancy and opportunities to repurpose or re-invent materials
- Work with international teams to align global content strategies while also supporting and facilitating content translation and localization
- Ensure consistent promotion of new content pieces across internal and external channels
- Measure and report on content effectiveness; recommend and implement strategies for optimization
Requirements
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 6-8 years experience in content marketing, marketing communications or related field
- Proven experience building customer adoption, advocacy/loyalty marketing programs
- Previous experience with B2B content marketing strategies such as blogging, video, influencer marketing, and multi-touch digital nurture campaigns
- Previous experience in SaaS, cloud technology, unified communications or related industry is highly preferred
- Clear, engaging writing style with ability to communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Strong ideation skills and a willingness to try new things
- Proven project management skills

- Confidence interacting with cross-functional teams of all levels
- Proven experience working in a metrics-driven marketing environment, and comfort with analytics that provide insight and accountability to content
