The Digital team is looking for a Social Media Manager.
Position Objectives & Primary Responsibilities
Clif Bar & Company is looking for a Social Media Manger to join our Digital Team. The Social Media manager will develop and execute the organic social media strategy to deliver on brand and business objectives. They will have strong ability to work cross functionally to insure alignment on marketing and storytelling initiatives. This candidate will be able to think creatively to produce engaging content for CLIF's social channels using best practices and data to optimize for each platform. This candidate will be forward thinking and will provide guidance to Digital Marketing Team on innovation within social media.
- Responsible for the social media strategy for the CLIF brand including defining objectives, channel specific approaches to content, and KPIs
- Manage the editorial calendar, creating and publishing social media content across all social platforms that reflects the CLIF brand's products, ethos and values in engaging way
- Report on KPIs for marketing campaigns and overall channel health
- Serve as the lead contact with our social media listening/management software team (Sprinklr) while actively using the platform to advance Digital Team goals and streamline workflow
- Manage the organic social media boosting budget and partner with the Paid Media Manager align on audience strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams to advise on how bring editorial and product stories to life on social
- Manage social media influencer marketing campaigns through the Mavrck platform
Position-Specific Skills Required
- Knowledge of online marketing channels and how they integrate with social media channels
- Thorough understanding of social media best practices and trends
- Working knowledge of Facebook Business Manager
- Experience with social media management and listening platforms such as Sprinklr
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills, with a passion for storytelling and proven abilities in copywriting, proofreading and editing
- Light Adobe Photoshop skills
- 3+ years of experience managing social media platform and communities for brands
Leadership Skills Required
- Influence and guide others in the development of rapidly evolving social strategies to support authentic communication and effective campaigns
- Proven track-record managing social media and leading initiatives that contribute to the goals and ongoing success of brand/client campaigns
