The Marketing Director is primarily responsible for developing, implementing and managing a marketing strategy to achieve business objectives. It is essential to the role to have a deep understanding of direct-to-consumer experience in paid advertising, SEM/SEO, social media/influencer marketing, and agency management with the ability to focus on CPA, Avg Order Value and Customer Lifetime Value to bring long-term solutions for our growth. Each aspect of the marketing strategy must leverage the company’s current social media success and following and input from the other industry experts in Sales/BD, Product Development and Operations.

The ideal candidate has recent experience in a direct-to-consumer company and is able to work and communicate well with the existing marketing team and the Chief Design Officer, CEO and other members of the management team. Further, experience developing and managing a digital marketing budget and the ability to maximize budget and opportunity for each campaign is preferred.

  • Develop Mushie Marketing Calendar & Marketing Strategy
  • Own all digital marketing channels and ensure brand consistency
  • Manage agency engagements and oversee digital marketing programs including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising campaigns; implement paid search, PPC, and SEO strategies/campaigns
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
  • Partner with Sales team to forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase market segment
  • Lead digital marketing team; motivate team to achieve goals
  • Manage and improve online content, by tracking SEO and Google Analytics data
  • Measure ROI, KPIs including conversion rates
  • Develop and execute regular reports for executive team
  • Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement
  • Provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong company web presence
  • Prepare and manage digital marketing budget
  • Additional assignments as needed by COO, CEO and Chief Design Officer
