Social Media Marketing Intern

Socialite Media Spring Internship:

Duration: Monday, June 14th - Friday, September 3rd

Pay: $500 total stipend plus commission opportunities (20% client signing bonus, 10% renewals), stipend to be paid at the end of the internship.

Time Commitment Breakdown: 10-15 hours per week (2+ hours per day), remote, possibility of in-office work toward July/ August. Must be available to attend weekly Socialite Media Zoom meetings with Intern Coordinator and possible remote client meetings. Invitation to some Socialite Media sponsored events and company outings.

Responsibilities:

- Assist Socialite Media executives with premium client accounts

- Run and manage 1-2 client accounts with supervision from Socialite Media team leader

- Create original content for social media platforms

- Work with client to incorporate brand voice into social media posts

- Develop strategic social media campaigns

- Work with influencers and learn influencer marketing

- If selected, you are an extension of the Socialite Media team and are expected to perform under Socialite Media professional standards

Qualifications:

- Current college student or recent graduate majoring in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or PR;

and/ or 1-2 years of similar industry experience

- Must have an interest in helping small businesses

- Must have an interest in Social Media Marketing and/or PR or Influencer Marketing

- Must be knowledgeable of current social media trends

- Must be a team player and work well collaborating with others

- Experience in photography, graphic design, and videography a plus

- Experience in SEO and web design a plus
