Senior Manager, Influencer & Social Strategy

PURPOSE:

The world of influencer and social media marketing is continuously evolving. This role will work directly with the larger marketing strategy team and specifically lead/steer a consumer-first approach to influencer and social media. In partnership with various cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for how Reebok defines the role of influencers and social media platforms globally including leading the relationship with our key agency partners. In addition, this role will oversee and manage the Global Brand Marketing Calendar including process and partnership with various brand stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about the role of influencer marketing and digital/social tactics to create brand consideration and drive traffic to Reebok. This person should also be constantly looking at what’s changing in the marketplace and be on the forefront of the digital space. The ability to manage various seasonal milestones, create best in class strategy/toolkits, communicate data and analytics to internal stakeholders is also essential.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • #1 focus – build and innovate Reebok’s global influencer marketing and social media strategy, inclusive of overall framework, key focus areas and marketing budget allocation.
  • Oversee Reebok’s global marketing calendar, inclusive of seasonal build out, strategic cultural/storytelling recommendations and change request process.
  • Deep and intricate knowledge of the influencer marketing space including tools, relationships with influencers, best and worst practices and the ability to communicate that information to internal stakeholders.
  • Support marketing brand communications leads with influencer/social toolkits and help execute globally funded programs.
  • Present global seasonal influencer and social media strategies to key stakeholders including senior leadership and market activation teams.
  • Manage external agency partner who is responsible for influencer planning and execution (inclusive of budget)
  • Manage external platform that houses all Reebok’s influencer management system

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong written and verbal communications skill. Ability to story tell and share complicated ideas in a simple, understandable way.
  • Strong business sense to drive online and offline influencer plans
  • Social media savvy
  • Strong collaboration skills and can steer a cross functional marketing team (e.g. analytics, PR etc.)
  • Multi-tasker who is flexible and thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinker, analyze everything and look for unconventional solutions to problems
  • Speaks up with new ideas, and help carry out the smart ideas of others


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years’ experience in developing influencer and social media strategy and activations for consumer goods brand(s)
  • Experience in being a people manager and day-to-day management of agencies
  • Proven ability managing multiple projects and budgets. Able to balance, prioritize, and adhere to strict deadlines – and when needed, propose ideas and work with the team to implement new approaches or solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of how to use Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working at a global company, liaising with market teams regularly
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, both US and International
