Interested in leading the Amazon credit card marketing efforts in Canada? We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead acquisition and customer engagement efforts in on and off-Amazon marketing channels. The role is ideal for a high performing marketer who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys testing and scaling marketing campaigns based on creative, message, channel, and segmentation performance.

In this role, you will drive acquisition and engagement to the Amazon Canada Co-Brand Credit Card. You will be responsible for building an annual plan, championing marketing initiatives to open up new and existing digital advertising channels for payments. Key channels you will focus on are Amazon.com, Search, digital ads, in influencer marketing channels, and more. You will lead projects from end to end, partnering with a team of high caliber marketers, data science, design, and product managers across Amazon. The role requires creativity, you will build and execute customer focused messaging and advertising. You will define the right message, at the right time, to encourage customers to apply for a card. In parallel, you will pay special attention to regulatory and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for diving into the data and sharing the performance of your initiatives - course correcting and scaling to deliver results. You will share your acquisition and awareness results on an ongoing basis with senior leaders within Amazon and bank partners.
You will also engage existing Amazon credit card customers when they are shopping on Amazon.com, and will be responsible for building effective customer communications across a range of digital channels. You will be customer obsessed, reviewing the customer lifecycle from Day 1, delivering and continuously improving communications. You will Dive Deep into customer insights, leading market research and initiatives to better understand the customer and continuously evolve the product value propositions.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing manager who can think strategically and execute flawlessly. To be successful you’ll need to be an effective thought leader and a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across multiple teams. You will influence other teams, as you build business cases to open new channels for payment products. If you are organized, analytical, and data driven, with an interest in independently owning your channel roadmap, this is a great role for you. We are seeking a detail-oriented marketer to open new marketing channels both on and off Amazon, and optimize the results by testing and learning.


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
+10 year brand or consumer marketing experience.
+5 years of marketing experience in a digital environment.


Preferred Qualifications

Marketing experience in financial services or retail
Proven experience managing large amounts of data, including customer segments and online campaign metrics
Familiarity with SQL
