As an Axiom Account Manager, you will focus on new business growth, increasing revenue, and completing client work as needed. You will be responsible for building and managing a book of business while collaborating with team members to ensure that all Axiom client goals are met. Additionally, you will work closely with the Axiom C-suite on the overall client strategy. You should be goal-focused, outcome-oriented, curious, a lifelong learner, and have experience in digital marketing, market research, and modern sales and marketing strategies.
Location: Position can be worked remotely (United States).
Reports to: Principal Salary: Base + Variable performance-based comp
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the sales and marketing goals of Axiom Marketing
- Develop and present client proposals to win consulting engagements
- Work with leadership to implement growth plans and business development strategies
- Create, manage, and work with the team to create a pipeline of opportunities and relationships; execute prospecting strategies to close new business
- Develop, grow, and manage client relationships
- Communicate strategy, tactics, and work plans to grow client revenues
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers and ensure the speedy closure of consulting engagements
- Develop and maintain relationships with top clients to ensure Axiom Marketing is delivering world-class results to clients
- Develop a deep understanding of clients and key prospect organizations and build strong relationships within their business
- Ensure delivery of client project projects based on agreed timelines, vision, and goals for client success
- Manage client accounts to ensure customer requirements are understood, demands met and issues dealt with and resolved effectively and promptly
- Monitor customer satisfaction against SOW's and reporting findings to the business via internal weekly and monthly reports
- Conduct market research, including primary and secondary
- Implement marketing tactics on behalf of clients which may include but not limited to digital marketing (PPC, Email, Social), influencer marketing, content marketing, and others as required.
- Create client reports, documents, and materials as needed

- Experience navigating complex negotiations, unlocking hidden value, and closing deals with B2B enterprises
- Cold introductions and closing sales are a piece of cake to you
- Fantastic and inspiring communicator both written and verbal and in presentations
- Strategic planner and tactical executer
- Strong time management, prioritization, and reporting skills
- Have the heart of an entrepreneur and the ability to focus on the most important tasks
- Can generate innovative and creative solutions to tough sales and marketing challenges

What is required to be considered?
- Energetic, relentless drive to succeed, curious self-starter, and team player
- Strong relationship skills, high EQ, and a long term, partnership-oriented mindset
- 5+ years in sales, marketing, and/or consulting
- Experience calling in one or more of the following verticals: Agriculture, Horticulture, Building Products, or Manufacturing.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
- Existing industry relationships preferred, with an outstanding ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Highly organized and focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Committed to travel and working hours to fulfill client needs
- Bachelor’s degree
