Genesys is looking for a Sr. Manager of Influencer Relations to focus on expanding and strengthening relationships with influential digital and AI industry analysts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role engaging with analysts to help showcase the company’s technical innovation and Experience as a Service vision for enabling empathetic and personalized experiences at scale across marketing, sales and service.
We’re looking for an AR professional who will help drive a best-in-class program that includes providing strategic counsel to internal stakeholders, as well as building trust with our analyst community through consistent and transparent communications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AR best practices, and how to deliver outstanding results. The Sr. Manager will report to the Senior Director of Analyst Relations as part of the Influencer Marketing team that engages with analysts, influencers, and consultants. There is also plenty of opportunity for career progression, and the ideal candidate will have a growth mindset.
Responsibilities
- Proactively establish and maintain relationships with key analysts and influencers, and effectively communicate Genesys’ news and points of view to external audiences
- Manage and coordinate analyst report submissions such as MQs, Waves, MarketScapes, Market Guides, Now Techs, etc.
- Collaborate with the Customer Advocacy team to drive new digital-first and AI customer reviews on peer review sites, such as Gartner Peer Insights, TrustRadius, etc.
- Uncover analyst insights on opportunities for expansion into new markets, viability and potential blockers to success
- Track and measure inquiry and briefing engagement
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Product Management, Product Marketing, Thought Leadership and PR to support Genesys business objectives
- Guide internal stakeholders on analyst engagement best practices and help prepare spokespeople
Requirements
- 7+ years' experience in analyst relations or related experience in product marketing, strategic communications, or public relations
- Experience building programs in an emerging business a plus
- Deep knowledge of and passion for enterprise analysts and influencers
- Demonstrated experience improving processes
- Persuasive communication skills and the desire to influence at all levels
- Relationship builder – proactive, respectful, values input and stimulates candid dialogue, positive attitude, sense of humor, relentless curiosity (and inherently interested in translating insights into usable content).
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, communications, marketing, journalism, business or comparable discipline
