Job Description:
We are looking for a driven, creative undergraduate to join Gainful as an Influencer Marketing intern! The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for health, wellness and nutrition and love for consumer brands and all things social – including Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and beyond.
As an Influencer Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for sourcing and vetting influencers for brand alignment, seeding product to up and coming influencers across platforms, communicating with influencers through every step of the process, and reporting on KPIs. You will work closely with our Brand Team (Influencer and Partnerships Manager, Brand Director), and Growth Team (Head of Growth, and Paid Marketing Manager) to secure content that can be used across channels (even on paid marketing that reaches millions of impressions). You will be a thought leader and stakeholder in influencer content with Gainful partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Seek out, vet, and outreach to potential influencer partners across Instagram and TikTok
- Keep open lines of communication with influencers (new and returning partners) via email and DM
- Seed product to 250+ new nano influencers per month and organize/save organic nano-influencer content and track social mentions
- Brainstorm category expansion outside of fitness professionals, and target new demos in weekly outreach
- Save and organize all influencer UGC, and share content highlights with the team
- Strategize and execute extended partnerships with successful nano-influencers
Required:
- Intuitive understanding of influencer landscape and ability to discern partners who will naturally adopt our brand's tone of voice & visual identity.
- Love of & professional fluency in social media channels (Instagram, Youtube, TikTok and more).
- Ability to collaborate and bring new ideas to the table including, but not limited to: content, creative solutions and execution
- An eye for storytelling: experience creating and/or evaluating social media video and photography preferred
Preferred:
- Pursuing BA in communications, marketing, or relevant field
- Personal interest in nutrition, wellness, fitness
- Experience at a high-growth startup, especially direct-to-consumer subscription

Details:
- Location: NYC, Remote required while COVID-19 social distancing policies are in place, though in-person is preferred if/once appropriate.

- Part-time during summer months (min 20 hours/week)
