Account Manager, Social Media Strategy

An agency redefining how brands interact with people of influence is looking for an Account Manager. We collaborate with clients to reposition the role of relationships within their marketing mix.

They work with some of the most recognized & trusted brands in the world because their offering is unique, and their deliverables consistent. They are currently seeking an Account Manager, with a sharp understanding of and deep passion for social media, with specific focus on Tik Tok and other emerging platforms, to join the team. The ideal candidate is a team player that brings a creative and strategic mind, experience & passion for brand marketing and influencer marketing, and quick thinking to a fast-growing team of professionals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Core responsibility is to provide support to the team in the efficient workflow of key managerial and administrative tasks that help ensure the client account runs smoothly.
  • Authentic understanding of social media, trends, emerging platforms, and social media content creation to help inform client social media strategy and execution.
  • Specific understanding of the Tik Tok platform, inclusive of content, trends, algorithms, measures of success, creator marketplace, and successful and up-and-coming creators
  • Assist and support the Account Director in all tasks involved in managing client briefs and the delivery of work against those briefs.
  • Provide key strategic thinking and deliver exceptional service and counsel to clients.
  • Provide consistent and clear communication with both client and internal team regarding all aspects of the account.
  • Guide junior team members to manage projects and timelines, ensuring that projects stay on time and within budget.
  • Manage all project deliverables and assets, organization and storage with the team leads.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client’s business challenges, their competition, and their industry, and translate that knowledge into actionable opportunities for the agency to grow the account financially.
  • Assist with creation and presentation of program pitches.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Build and nurture productive business relationships with vendors and other outside organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have 4-6 years of agency experience with a concentration across social media marketing and influencer marketing.
  • At least one year experience on Tik Tok campaigns and/or with Tik Tok creators
  • Phenomenal collaborator and facilitator of collaboration
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for his/her work.
  • Identifies opportunities and potential problems, addressing them effectively and efficiently.
  • Feels accountable and knows how to ask questions and learn from mistakes.
  • Industry relationships and Connections, a plus
