Revela creates more effective consumer products in haircare, skincare, and total wellness by using AI to discover novel ingredients. We are a venture funded early-stage startup (in stealth mode) seeking a digitally savvy, proactive, and highly motivated individual to our team with experience in, and a passion for, social media and influencer marketing - reporting directly to our COO. The company will exit stealth mode during our website launch at the end of July.

The Business Development Associate will assist with day-to-day strategy and campaign execution for Revela’s new influencer marketing program. The ideal candidate will have a proven experience in identifying and engaging influencers and supporting outreach programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns
  • Manage talent discovery and lead generation; building and maintaining influencer relationships
  • Assist in management of promotional mailer program (PR packages) to influencers
  • Drive consumer engagement via various initiatives including, but not limited limited to, high-touch networking, closed beta testing, and community building experiences
  • Liaising with the marketing team to execute omni-channel marketing strategies
  • Conduct basic market research and analyze marketing surveys to support marketing plans including competitor benchmarks, customer trends, and social media buzz
  • Brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns that meet brand objectives and goals
  • Generate analysis reports on performance of past influencer campaigns and provide recommendations for the future
  • Attend relevant events/conferences for networking and business opportunities

Qualifications:

  • BS in marketing, or 1-2 years of influencer marketing experience
  • Proven track record in outreach campaign strategies
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques, databases, and marketing principles
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers, cross-functional teams, and vendors
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly for proactive collaboration with team
  • Energized by an entrepreneurial environment – not afraid to do things themselves to get things done and comfortable managing own activities with limited oversight
  • Takes individual initiative and follows-through on commitments to achieve results
