Droplette is revolutionizing drug delivery: we are building a disruptive needle-free platform technology with groundbreaking applications in cosmetics, gene delivery, and healthcare.
Our team is looking for an Influencer Marketing Manager to devise and support Droplette’s marketing efforts with influencers, from celebrity to nano-influencer levels.
You will partner with the internal CMO and Marketing leadership team to set the influencer and affiliate strategies to meet business goals, and then work hand-in-hand with our Performance team and agency partners to drive execution with measurable results. You will leverage your KOL relationships and knowledge of the competitive terrain to help Droplette tell its story, communicate its points of difference, and broaden its reach, and increase demand and conversion for its products. You should be comfortable engaging and negotiating with high-profile business partners, and reporting metrics, costs per action, and profitability by initiative. You will need to oversee a brand and UGC asset library, a consistent schedule of content and promotions, and an ongoing P+L, and be laser focused on optimizing spend for the greatest return on investment.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify ideal influencer partners for each business channel, and work out payment terms to align incentives and stay within healthy cost per acquisition ranges in light of other marketing tactics
- Establish the various ways in which Droplette influencers will help drive conversion and capture share within the luxury skincare market
- Build and maintain influencer relationships, prioritizing mutual beneficiality for long term gains
- Own all aspects of influencer marketing execution: crafting unique briefs, directing messaging, identifying influencer targets, and preparing all briefing materials/documents
- Work with agency partners for a steady flow of campaigns -- you will supervise, inform, and sometimes delegate to our communications agencies to drive a constant cadence of influencer campaigns that achieve reach, traffic, and conversion
- Involve the broader Marketing team to create aligned consumer communications and campaign calendars across all channels (onsite, social, mobile, etc.) and to ensure both strong commercial and consistent brand messages
What We Seek:
- 5+ years of social /influencer / digital / or affiliate marketing experience at a DTC business, beauty and subscription model experience would be ideal
- A strategic thinker with the ability to understand business metrics, to create formats needed to deliver results, and to integrate with right-fit influencers to drive mutually beneficial outcomes. Experience creating dashboards and proficiency with influencer management software (ex: CreatorIQ) will be important
- A self-starter and team player used to working in a fast-paced environment, with adaptability, proactivity, and a will to succeed even when guidance is scarce
- A well-connected industry veteran with a network to leverage in the influencer space, from celebrity to nano-influencers. We are looking for demonstrated success in driving branded campaigns that stay true to influencers’ platforms
- Flexible, humble, and ready to roll up sleeves to take on new projects outside of day-to-day scope, pending business needs
- Must be passionate about skincare and overall health and well-being
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant analytical major required. Masters degree preferred.
