The Director, Strategic Partnerships & Social Media contributes to The Bouqs’ mission of revolutionizing the way we commemorate life’s moments by leading social and content strategy including new channels, influencer marketing, and brand partnerships. You’re a strategic and creative leader, thinker, and doer. You’re passionate about and energized by developing and executing social media campaigns, cultivating influencer relationships, creating thumb-stopping social content, and negotiating deals with like-minded brand partners. You’re always looking for new ways to drive earned impressions/ reach/ engagement and equally driven to understand the impact to the business. You’re up to date on industry trends, the latest platforms, and curious to tap into new ways to connect with our consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic partnerships tied to acquisition, lead gen, and awareness goals with like-minded brands. Own roadmap, balance brand-fit and quantifiable goals. Skilled negotiator with a knack for inking mutually beneficial deals that drive business forward. Bonus if you have a strong network to tap into!
  • Build relationships with lifestyle influencers and thought leaders; build upon existing influencer program
  • Develop and refine social strategy, unlocking new channels and optimizing existing. Tap into cultural moments, seasonality and trends to ultimately educate, inspire, entertain and engage social audiences
  • Concept and execute seasonal social campaigns that ladder up to overarching marketing stories, thinking about social-first executions that engage new/existing consumers
  • Content: drive the vision and execution for social-first content that lives cross-channel and sets Bouqs apart through key pillars
  • Responsible for budget, goal-setting and KPI reporting, recommendations for program optimizations. Conduct rigorous testing, analysis/measurement, and optimizations
  • Manage, coach, build and mentor a team; work closely with appropriate external agencies

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Consumer Marketing, PR, or Social Media experience
  • Agency or In-House experience
  • CPG, Fashion or Beauty PR and Social Media experience required
  • Experience in building and managing influencer programs with proven ROI
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related business field
  • An effective communicator who knows how to inspire teams to do their best work and seeks collaboration to drive toward common goals
  • Strategic leader who can develop and execute brand partnerships that are both brand building and revenue generating
  • Desire for staying up to date on the evolving influencer and social landscape
  • Creative thinker who is comfortable writing/creating engaging content to inspire consumers
  • Eye for aesthetics and branding
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a demonstrated sense of urgency and a results-oriented approach. Must have the ability to work under pressure in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment while being flexible with change
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
