Responsibilities

BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for developing and managing Organic Social Media strategy encompassing: Content, Community Management, Social Media Listening & Reporting and the Social Media Influencer Program.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead strategy for NCL social media to achieve marketing targets by supporting overall brand priorities and driving continual engagement with forward-thinking approach.

Act as champion of new ideas for social media opportunities to propel the brand forward including evaluation of new platforms and potential partnerships.

Oversee and approve the content calendars for all social media channels for the NCL brand including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.

Manage Listening and Reporting to use strategic data to provide insights and help guide social strategy and business/consumer intelligence.

Run and develop all social media reports including: monthly reports, ad hoc reports, campaign recaps and influencer performance recaps.

Manage the following social media tools and vendors: Listening and Reporting (Brandwatch), Scheduling & Publishing (Social Studio), and UGC Curation (Pixlee). Tool management includes: Evaluation and tool assessment, contracts and renewals, vendor relationship, maintenance and use.

Manage Crisis Management communication on social platforms by working with Public Relations & Guest Relations and provide updates to Senior Leadership of social conversation.

Work with consumer intelligence & analytics team to provide social media data for consolidated business reports.

Create and manage all influencer campaigns to address business needs. Work directly with influencers to evaluate, negotiate and track performance.

Innovate and champion growth driving programs within the organization including potential partnerships.

Represent Norwegian Cruise Line to current and potential corporate partners.

Manage YouTube channel, uploads, inventory and metrics.

Manage the team's annual budget & forecasting.

Track, research and report on current social media trends and competitive activity in the social space.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

EXPERIENCE: 6- 8 years of marketing or advertising experience with specific experience in the social media space/role including knowledge in reporting, analytics and influencer marketing.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Advanced knowledge of, experience with and passion for social media with demonstrated ability & understanding of social media reporting and content development. Understanding of influencer marketing & role of social media influencers as an effective marketing tool. Understanding of brand marketing. Familiarity in working with strategic brand partnerships. Very strong attention to detail. Ability/experience managing other employees. Excellent written and verbal communications skills to effectively interact with management, cross-functionally and with marketing vendors. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment to accomplish goals and complete projects. Strong decision making skills to effectively and efficiently execute campaigns. Ability to find creative solutions in the midst of complex technical constraints. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines. Ability to provide recommendations based on data insights. Experience with Social Media Tools such as: Brandwatch, Social Studio, FB Insights, Instagram Insights, YouTube Studio & UGC tools
