Description
Diamonds Direct is in search of an enthusiastic, self-motivated and data-driven Marketing Manager dedicated to developing high performing, cross channel initiatives that gain market share and generate business to our brick and mortar retail locations and e-commerce platform.
We are seeking a candidate who has proven experience in both traditional and digital media strategy - both on and offline. The ideal candidate will have the ability to define key marketing performance metrics and translate them into actionable insights. You will not only join forces with the existing marketing team and brand leadership, but also with our omni-channel, finance, merchandising, and sales leaders to develop impactful marketing plans.
We are looking for a leader that will enjoy the opportunity to help build and shape our team for the road ahead. This individual will inherit existing talent and agencies as well as have the opportunity to further develop this team in an effort to future proof the marketing vertical as we rapidly approach significant milestones in the omni-channel and brick and mortar space.
Qualifications
Core Functions:
- Develop integrated, cross channel marketing strategies that most effectively reach the desired audiences and outcomes.
- Expand upon existing marketing framework to explore new placements and platforms that promote growth and drive results
- Plan, negotiate, execute and analyze all media across traditional, digital and emerging channels:
- Traditional channels like: Radio, support regional and local print and sponsorships and paid partnerships and more!
- Digital channels like: Google PPC, social media, OTT, display, retargeting, geofencing and customer prospecting, affiliate and influencer marketing, email / CRM / Customer retention marketing, and SEO and more!
- Communicate with various media buyers, agencies, internal teams, and other services to help marketing projects come to fruition
- Achieve financial objectives by contributing actionable data to establish an annual budget. Help schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain research database by analyzing market research, customer data, current market conditions and competitor information
- Measures and reports performance of all marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs) Optimize campaign spend and performance based on insights
Skills
& Requirements
- Professional & diplomatic leadership style: At times, candidate will be main contact for executives, internal stakeholders, partners, and third-party agencies
- Analytical thinker and clear communicator. Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to persuade action
- Ability to read and understand media plans, analyze outcomes, and communicate this in simple terms
- Extremely organized, exceptional attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Self-Starting with an aptitude for identifying challenges and developing action plans
- 5+ years of experience in-house or with an agency - retail marketing experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, or related
