What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Brand Adventure and Sales Exploration Chief and collaborating with team members across the organization, the Brand Adventure Director is responsible for developing and executing our marketing programs and campaigns, and ensuring the finished product is on-brand, on-brief, on-time, within budget, and meets our key success metrics. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute the Company’s rolling 18-month strategic marketing plan, including ideation and campaign concept development to support sales goals, product launches, and ongoing brand and sustainability initiatives
- Serve as the key steward of the Company’s brand, taking responsibility for maintaining a consistent Brand Voice and ensuring that all assets and copywriting is consistent with the Company’s Brand Guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ideate, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns, leveraging various channels including email, social, digital advertising, website, events, and PR
- Work across departments to build and maintain 18-month marketing Editorial / Content Calendar in alignment with brand strategy, sales goals, and social impact/sustainability efforts
- Lead Company’s organic (non-paid) social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) including developing concepts and executing posts, stories, videos and other content in partnership with internal and freelance team members
- Manage Influencer marketing activities. Vet potential influencers, manage influencer relationships, and ensure mutual commitments are met
- Oversee paid advertising including affiliate marketing and paid online advertising (paid social, Google Ads, etc.) working with outside freelance/agency contacts
- Oversee Public Relations activity and manage agency relationship
- Lead Events strategy and execution including industry trade shows and hosted events
- Communicate marketing campaign effectiveness and return on advertising spend using dashboards and other performance reporting tools
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor activities, and share insights with broader team
- Manage outsourced creative resources (designers, copy writers, photographers, etc.) and oversee project work including contracts, timelines, and deliverables.

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree required
- U.S Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. required
- 5+ years’ experience developing and executing marketing plans and cross-channel marketing campaigns required
- Experience or interest in social impact and sustainability a plus
- Bonus Points: experience with Amazon, Nordstrom, or retail e-commerce experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of proficiency MS Office
- Superior project management skills
- Ability to travel if needed
Where We Are
WAYB’s U.S. headquarters is located in South Pasadena, CA. This has a potential to be a remote role. Candidate should be willing to travel to various sites, including company headquarters, in order to effectively carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role.
