We have an immediate opening for a Senior Social Media Manager in our Austin, Texas office. This position is responsible for helping to manage the day-to-day client relationships, social media channels and implementing comprehensive social campaigns for a variety of assigned accounts. The Senior Social Manager assists in strategic development of social programs and helping manage a client portfolio. This position is actively involved in developing social content, community management, client relations, influencer programs, and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Understands the client's business goals as well as the client's individual needs and develops solutions to meet those needs
- Works with project team and client(s) to execute social media strategies
- Independently writes and develops editorial calendars
- Partners with creative and social team members to develop impactful content ideas and concepts that extend marketing campaigns and branding initiatives
- Enjoys creative writing and finds concise and clear ways to share key messages
- Manages influencer marketing campaigns, from influencer vetting and outreach to program management
- Deploys communications and aids in delivery of overall strategy including paid social
- Ensures client satisfaction and work produced meets quality standards
- Assist in the creation of social media reports on a monthly basis for clients that include an analysis of current social activity and future marketing recommendations based on trend data
- Utilize social listening tools such as NetBase Quid to generate insights
- Utilize traffic procedures to streamline projects
- Ensure adhesion to strategic direction
Key Experience & Skills Needed:
- Candidates must have recent experience managing social media communities
- Experience working within Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or similar tools
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly in the proper social media “voice” and “tone”
- Understand all forms of social media interactions (blogs, forums, communities, etc…)
- Knowledge of social media marketing tools
- Very high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Minimum of four years experience
- Prior advertising agency experience is preferred
- Travel industry experience or knowledge a plus
