We are looking for a creative remote or onsite CTO to make our vision a reality! This role will make all technology decisions and oversee the future of our operations. We are looking for someone who can build, motivate, and lead our team of engineers. Someone who will set the standard of the influencer marketing ecosystem!

Our tech stack: Java (Android SDK + Eclipse + Android Studio), Ruby on Rails (REST APIs), SQL, React, Redux, AWS, Git, Test automation

What You Will Be Doing

  • Create a roadmap and build our product/platforms to scale
  • Partnering with executive team and Board of Directors for setting culture and cadence for the Tech Department
  • Acting as the technical vision and directing the team while providing mentorships and guidance
  • Conduct technical design and code reviews to help our engineering team improve
  • Communicate with engineers, product managers, customers, and partners on a daily basis
  • Set hypotheses, test risks, and break down large, complex issues
  • Increase all possible ROIs delivering launches and utilizing all resources our company has by working with marketing, PR, client management, and publishing
  • Project management teams finish projects on time within scope and budget
  • Meet with stakeholders to ensure the platform is helping clients and business hit objectives
  • Remove all bottlenecks and resolve problems
  • Create budgets and track any risks in the product roadmap. Any extra resources or costs make sure yield success for current and future state
  • Keep a consumer-facing focus and support go-to-market strategies

What You Need for this Position

  • 7+ years of a proven track record of leading a product or technology
  • Strong understanding of P&Ls, budgets, and business planning
  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or engineering related field (MBA or other relevant degrees is a plus)
  • Expert in data integration in a cloud environment with java technologies
  • Marketing agency experience is a plus
  • Operational experience of AI/ML algorithms for handling and maintaining large streams of data
  • Previous experience running large-scale production environment, led monitoring and analytics products for production environment especially for enterprise customers
  • Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Negotiating with software partners for licensing fees
