Summary

The Content Marketing Specialist will focus on media optimization and planning across digital paid media. This role will primarily focus on content media tactics, such as affiliate, display, native, video, digital out of home, and paid social, emphasizing the right content and message that helps audiences learn more about Carhartt and products.

Primary responsibility is driving consideration, traffic and revenue for our direct to consumer (D2C) business. Overseeing agencies, this associate will plan, optimize, budget, report, and test new campaigns. This position works cross functionally and assesses campaign effectiveness, ROI, and proactively identifies marketplace trends and technology evolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with external marketing agencies to execute D2C strategy related to content focused channels, such as affiliate, paid social, video, display and direct mail.
  • Build and execute a content strategy and messaging calendar with engaging and relevant content to drive results for our media investment.
  • Create and lead channel strategy and selection with clear budgeting and growth targets.
  • Works closely with performance media partners and internal marketing teams to project manage the creative asset request process and ensure accurate and on-time delivery of creative.
  • Define, implement and measure test and learn plans.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and D2C teams to build, grow, execute and measure the Carhartt media channels. Key partners include influencer marketing, drive to retail stores, D2C personalization team, D2C merchandising, D2C marketing.
  • Collaborate with analytics to review performance metrics and communicate campaign results to key stakeholders.
  • Successfully track and maintain relevant advertising budgets, expenses and revenue.
  • Analyze channel performance data and effectively communicate department advertising activities and results to stakeholders and management.
  • Stay up to date on latest online marketing strategies and trends, while continually leveraging new tools and industry best practices to boost efficacy of campaigns

  • Education

    • Bachelor's Degree Required in Business or Related Field
    • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree

    Required Skills And Experience

  • 3 years marketing experience, to include at least 1 year of experience with affiliate, display or paid social focus; Agency experience is a plus.
  • 2 years of budget management and ROI evaluation experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills; Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to understand and report on digital marketing campaigns
  • Ability to execute under tight deadlines and within budget parameters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Apparel, Retail or Consumer Products marketing experience preferred
