Social Media Sr Leader
Ariat is looking for an outstanding social media leader to oversee our organic social media platforms across all social channels in the USA. You will lead and be responsible for the social media vision and strategy, and work with global partners to integrate Ariat’s social content vision globally. The ideal candidate is ambitious, results-oriented, has a pulse on the social landscape, has helped drive innovation, and has led strategy and best practices in social media for a global brand (either in-house or at an agency). This role is a vital player in the digital marketing team, has a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, and is passionate about building best in class customer experiences.
This candidate will need to think big and help define how Ariat shows up in culture/ social while also rolling up your sleeves and doing ‘the work’.
Additionally, you will oversee community management, helping to drive brand relationships through authentic social media engagements through consumer communications and driving an influencer strategy with both micro and macros influencers, while optimizing these with our ecommerce growth team for growth initiatives.
You will need to be an expert in working cross-functionally across departments: Brand, Media, PR/Comms, Ecommerce teams, and more.
What You’ll Do
- Develop an US social media playbook to drive Ariat’s organic growth across all of our social media platforms and work globally to extend the brand’s vision with our global partners.
- Identify, create and manage the social media strategy, guidelines, and content across all owned channels in support of the monthly content calendar to drive real-time conversations in close partnership with our Brand team.
- Continually cultivate innovation and build test-and-learn approaches to new content ideas.
- Lead a team of seasoned and growing social media associates, fostering continued learning and career growth.
- Build deep relationships with consumers in innovative ways, and drive two-way dialog to engage and connect.
- Work closely with our Sr. Creative Director and in-house creative team (both creative and social teams live within the brand department) to build high-quality content for all aspects of the strategy.
- Partner with PR and the affiliate teams on influencer strategies and management, driving revenue growth through UGC assets and influencer campaigns. Work cross functionally on the development of driving paid and organic growth through this strategy.
- Partner with email, loyalty and other ecommerce teams to amplify the social experience across multiple digital touchpoints.
Who You Are:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
- Strong experience working on creative and innovative social media campaigns at a major global brand.
- Experience working influencer marketing for both organic community building as well as lead gen campaigns
- 10+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing
- 4-5+ years of experience managing a team
- Growth mindset.
- Excels working in a fast paced cross-functional environment with competing demands
